The people in the room above us strolled in at around 2 in the morning and constantly walked around their room very loudly. It didn't help that the floor boards were very squeaky. This went on for about an hour disturbing me and my kids.
Excellent Value, good Location,Friendly helpful staff and the bar was fab as was the food top notch, very enjoyable
The odour around the front and in car park
The bed was comfy! Bathroom good size and had hot water! Staff were very pleasent even the cleaners. Food was ok and cheap as well
Didn't like the fact you could smell a little bit of sweage ! And when we was sleeping there was a clicking noise that would go off every 5/10 mins and didn't know what it was! Wasn't the heating ad didn't have it on! But overall good!
Reception staff Size of room amenities
Bed too hard for me
location was very good.
No fuss check in. Generally quiet. Rooms were a good size. Staff were polite and helpful.
Why are the beds so short? I am just under 6ft but had to sleep diagonally to keep my feet on the bed. The shower head could also be higher as I have to stoop to wash my hair. Why no plug sockets near the bed. I could not charge my phone overnight and use it as my alarm without getting up in the middle of the night to fetch it from the desk so that I could easily reach it when the alarm went off.
Attached pub had poor food and bad service on both times we tried it
the beds were comfy aswell as having a bath which not many b+bs have. The breakfast was lovely and plenty to choose from. The only issue we had was you could hear the guests upstairs child running backwards and forwards across the room at 2am so making the rooms more soundproof could be better but a thoroughly enjoyable trip.
the location was good, the room was clean and fairly spacious, the staff were pleasant.
nothing in particular
Availability to locations of interest. Adequate for our needs on a short break.
The bed was massive and very comfortable. Our room had a good view overlooking the marina.
Having to leave.
View of the lake and area to sit looking over the lake.
Room was ok
The restuarants that are part the of the Group called Fayre and Square serve really poor food. Everything is battered adn Deep fired. Try getting a "green or healtier" alternative.
Location and convenience for travel. Rooms fairly quiet.
Mattress in disabled access room extremely uncomfortable if been a disabled person unable to have some independent movement would have been dreadful. Cooked breakfast absolutely swimming in fat. Was going to speak to staff, but they were already dealing with customers as we left and we had no time to wait due to booked appointments elsewhere. To confound matters I wrote to management of hotel expressing my concerns before making my views known elsewhere and to date have had NO response after 3 weeks.
Pub right next door Lovely to look out over the water
Shower not tall enough
Great location. Room was very clean big and comfortable for a family of four. The restaurant and breakfast was lovely.
We were on ground floor and their is a problem with the floor boards so its really noisy when people walk across the room especially in the night. Ask for a room upstairs.
Lack of acconditioner in room. I was charged more than pre-booked agreed charges
Heather on reception was great. Great breakfast. Nice comfortable hotel.
The bar staff are atrocious. They are not trained in customer service. 20 minutes to get a drink is not acceptable. Get some trained professional barmen an women that know how to greet and serve customers efficiently. This is the tourist business after all..
Good value for money and very handy for Santa pod race way
Bad smell from the lake
Location was good, room was clean and tidy, staff were polite and friendly, food was good and cheap
Bed was hard, floorboards above were noisy at times.
Breakfast Friendly staff,very helpfull

Location was good and eveining lady and gentlemen were both really friendly Option for meal next door although went to local franky and benies
Gentleman in morning wasnt friend room especially bathroom completely stank couldn't open windows at night staying upstairs due to tones of spiders along the top of the building all around, litarly tones Bed was hard didn't personally bother me but my partner got hardly anysleep because of this
