The staff were all genuinely friendly, cheerful and helpful. What more could be asked for.

Breakfast was great - they even provided beef sausages as well as pork which is unusual in our experience. The staff were v friendly The room was comfortable It was very near the venue we were going to so was ideally located

As no wardrobe the ironing board is on full display which isn't the most attractive view. Not much choice of beers in the bar

Room was spotlessly clean. Reception desk staff were very helpful and courteous. Dinner in restaurant very good. Breakfast was good and breakfast staff very attentive.

Very low water pressure in the bathroom. No bottled water in room. Asked for wake up call - didn't get it. Whilst food in restaurant was very good the service was very slow despite there being only four tables occupied when I attended. However the staff were very courteous.

Hotel was very clean, rooms functional decorated to a good standard. The breakfast was very good as we're the staff at breakfast.

Reception staff when booking out were not helpful. The lady tried to charge me for two breakfasts and overcharged for the one I did have. I pre-booked in the evening but was charged the non booked rate. I was told that "if I had told them (when booking out) it would not have happened". Due to an inability to refund the money to my card there was a 10 minute delay and only resolved when when I insisted that the £3.00 refund was given in cash, although refused on two occasions the lady did, begrudgingly agree in the end. I am a bit old school in terms of putting the blame to the customer for a hotel failure is not good customer service.

Location

Horrible stay. First, they could not find my reservation. Second, the more "senior" front desk lady got into a tiff with a colleague right in front of me including the tossing of papers. Third, the elevators - slow and old. Fourth, the rooms, water ring stains on the desk, stiff bed, nasty stained armchair... Fifth - NO HOT WATER, which I had read in a review when i was going to book this hotel, but ignored thinking, what kind of hotel would run out of hot water? When I called to inform them they told me the boiler was repaired and that the hot water had not reached the rooms yet, so I let the water run, and run, and run, waiting, waiting waiting. I finally turned it off. An hour later no hot water. When I checked out, unshowered and unshaven, I complained and was told "very sorry sir" - no "would you like a complimentary breakfast" or "can we pick up your cab fare", NOTHING. Crap service. I could tell by the routine way they were fielding complaints about the water that this had happend befroe... many times before!

The whole stay was great. Lovely room. Lovely staff. Clean and well presented. Staff go out of their way to serve you/meet your needs.the staff in the restaurant both morning and night couldn't have been more helpful. All staff responded to amd made my daughter feel special. Thank you.

Nothing. Except the fact my booking through booking.com hadn't worked?? My partner turned up and no reservation could be found, despite I registered my card? But the staff helped us through and so no problem in the end.

The pool wasn't working all weekend, and we had two four year olds with us who were very upset with this!

Everything about this hotel was excellent. All of the staff were friendly, professional and attentive. We were there with our grand daughter who loved the pool and breakfast buffet.

Central location

The heating had broken in my parents room , they were given an old fashioned electric fan heater to plug in . Although we had been told a late check out was ok (1.30 pm ) a very rude forigen lady , maybe housekeeping manager knocked on our door twice to say can you leave the room ... Not good customer service on all accounts

The hotel pool was out of action and the staff did not know what to do about it. After a 5 hr drive to get to the hotel the resteraunt manager told us we could not eat there. He was very arrogant and we complained.

Beautiful Hotel with pool. Rooms were lovely and clean. Breakfast was self service continental and then waitresss service for a full english which was lovely. Friendly staff and their was parking, evening meal if wanted and a bar. Great

Having to pay for parking Cold bedrooms and function room Blood on bedding Bathroom accessories: very poor quality toilet paper. One small bottle of shower gel/shampoo to share between two people. No where near enough

Found the hotel and staff very pleasant, I will defiantly stay there again
