Comfortable mattress and quite clean. Everything is average: average room, average breakfast with average service. Pillows were terrible. I can see why this hotel would be suitable for a business trip. Fitness facilities need a complete renovation and free wifi needs to be part of the room rate.

Location is the only thing I liked. There is hoverer not very much to like! Room 714 was noisy with extraction noise continually operating, filthy beyond repair curtains, holes in wall where a picture should have been and and an overall feel of neglect and dilapidation. I complained on arrival and looked at a further two rooms on the 7th floor which were even worse than 714! Front of house facilities are certainly let down by the state of the bedrooms although I was informed by reception that my room was due for a refurb' - incredible however that the gm has allowed rooms to deteriorate to the state of 714, this is disgraceful! The grounds outside the hotel also showed significant neglect and general untidiness-not a good first impression! Does no one care in Park Inn Northampton or is this a Radisson problem? Following on from my comments above. I watched the corporate tv promotion of Park Inns and felt that Norghamptonclearly is notpart of that ethos. Staff were ok apart from my first contact with reception who exhibited an air of 'couldn't care less whether you room is acceptable or not, take it or leave it'. Why is Park Inn Northampton letting sub- standard rooms especially over the Christmas period when the hotel was virtually empty? I am glad that only paid £55 per night for my5 night stay, I think it was worth about £30! Given that this hotel was built as Northampton's top hotel which certainly has the best location in Northampton is extremely disappointing and distressing that the current and no doubt previous management has allowed this hotel to fall to such poor standards - please spend some money on this hotel and get some better management in starting with replacing the gm.

The foyer is light, airy and inviting. Staff were very pleasant and efficient. The rooms are a good size with good bathroom facilities. We asked for soya milk but didn't get it. There were not enough pillows and the ones that were there were very soft.

Clean and friendly city centre hotel with all the usual facitities, including adaquate car parking. Room was clean and functional with all the essentials but no wardrobe- only wall hooks and hangers for hanging clothes.. Restaurant nice and spacious..Staff were friendly and food selection (self service breakfast) was good. Disappointingly the cooked items were almost cold and this spoilt an otherwise good meal. Overall this hotel is fine for 1/2 night stay particularly if on business or if a central location is a key factor. .

The presentation and decor of the rooms was vibrant and trendy. Location is great for the town centre. The restaurant facilities and prices are very reasonable I was attending a conference and I believe the hotel was fully booked. Parking was a bit of an issue

Reasonable price and central location At breakfast there was no one there to meet and greet. We had to wait for plates and a tea pot. No milk on the table. Not enough pillows in the bedroom and no spares! Decor is very dated!

Functional. Had the facilities I needed. Convenient location. Friendly staff. Everything was adequate but unexceptional. It was quite average. Having stayed at other Radisson hotels [at Stanstead Airport and in Helsinki], I was expecting a higher standard.

I enjoyed the friendly staff and its bathroom design. My first night cost less than 50bp. I have to say that the hotel offers very good value for this price. On the second night it cost more but I was happy to stay at this hotel. The staff does not know about sight seeing in this local area. I suppose that many travellers do not visit Northampton for sightseeing. I happened to be there on my way from another town to London to spend a weekend.

Very little. All decor needed upgrading. It was dark. You had one person on the bar who was responsible for room service as well. Clients were understanding, and felt for the woman doing the job. Toilet paper cheap, bathroom items measly. Furniture chipped. Room service £12 for toast! Staff facilities paint peeling. Dire!

Location is excellent. Lady at front desk was a credit to herself and the hotel. Breakfast was not included - the price seemed rather expensive for B&B
