The hotel accomodated us when we arrived early, so we were able to park and have a look around We didn't get the room we booked but as we were only there a night it wasn't a problem

Dissapointing from the moment I walked through the door.. Never again!! Didn't even have soap in the toilets, that says it all! Give this hotel a very wide birth.. Booked a king size room and honestly it was falling 2 bits. 6'x6' was like a prison cell! No soap in washrooms, very poor service, anb breakfast was stone cold.

As we were Grandmother, Daughter and 7 year old Grandson in our group. we were looking for a room with 3 single beds if possible, and the Northcote had this. When we got there we were allocated a different room with 2 singles and a double and this was better for us, same rate. Very comfortable room, staff very helpful and friendly. We stayed for 3 days, and was ideal for us. Near to Sea Life centre which is one reason we went to Scarborough.

North Bay beach just a short walk away. Good park for kids nearby also with boating. Open Air Theatre not far away either. Sea World Centre about 15 minutes walk once you get to the beach. Nice cafe about 50 yards down the road. Some good Fish and Chip restaurants in Scarborough. We were really lucky with the weather though. Parking spaces are very limited and on an steep incline. Ensuite was very narrow.
