Located in the market town of Yeovil, on the southern borders of Somerset, The Globe & Crown is centrally located for exploring Somerset and Devon.

Offering light, elegant rooms and a 2 AA Rosette restaurant, Yeovil Court is less than 10 minutes’ drive from Yeovil’s centre.
Score from 99 reviews Excellent
In Georgian days, the Eastbury was a private residence. It is now an elegant hotel with peaceful grounds and excellent food, offering free parking.

The White Hart is situated in the heart of Somerset and just 25 minutes’ drive from the M5 motorway. The property has been serving as a pub in the market square of Somerton since the 16th century.
Score from 88 reviews Wonderful
Clean and tidy. Would make an excellent wedding venue.
Food, Modern looking bar, wonderful old building modernised well. Staff really helpful and friendly.
Very Small TV. NO TOILETRIES only soap and shower goo attached to wall. Furnishings and carpet looking quite tired. Outside of door and skirting boards either made to look 'distressed' or they were waiting for a Top Coat of Gloss paint. No safe in room. Seemed low level of security in hotel. Evening meal in a very small room quite cramped (used for Breakfast) with chequered table cloths (breakfast cloths?)
Attractive room, and lovely view. Very comfortable lounge for evening drink. Plus brilliant Breakfast.
That we could only stay one night. Nothing to complain about with the hotel though.
Nice location & complete facilities including bar, pub and large garden
Soap falling through the soap holder in shower
friendly staff very attentive and accommodating made you feel at home.
housekeeping of bedroom and bathroom could of been a bit better.
Friendly Staff - Excellent Breakfast - Comfy Room .
Good location near A303, and Air Museum. Clean and tidy with a good breakfast. Will stay again.
Ground floor rooms next to reception on a stone tile floor so noise can travel through the first couple of rooms, but not a major problem.
Good space. Comfortable beds. Efficient staff.
Saturday night wedding party. Car horns and alarms when guests leave. Noisy music. Wouldn't stay Saturday night again.
Friendliness of staff Cleanliness of the hotel Location View of grounds and courtyard Breakfast
Small room Only one chair to sit on in room Wine list and menu a bit restrictive Lounge taken over by wedding party
The hotel is not what you expect, its a collection of older buildings all linked very carefully and looks stunning, I would recommend a stay here, very comfortable and the food was great.
The staff were very helpful and frinedly and couldn't do enough. The food was excellent and when they hadn't got the wine we chose, made a great recommendation of a superior wine but charged us the same price as the one we'd picked. Will definitely return.
Some of the paintwork/furniture a bit tired, but this is a minor point.
It is a tranquil location and the hotel and staff are friendly and welcoming. Breakfast is a must it was the perfect stopover.
Lovely evening staff, very overworked but still managed to smile. Nice shower
The evening function, which we were not informed about until we arrived.Sadly from the moment the disco started it was impossible for any other residents to hear themselves speak. We had committed to dining in by the time it all kicked off so had no option other than to eat up then sit outside until the temperature forced us inside. The lounge area had the door removed so we were unable to hide in there either. We even considered sitting in our car until the function ended, but had been driving all day and were tired so gave in and went to bed at 10.30. We used the TV eventually to drown out the noise which lasted until 11.30. Or room, 23, is above the function suite, the two fans in the room were defective and the ceiling fan ineffectual, but also wobbled so we decided not to risk potential decapitation. The room was therefore stuffy, and noisy. We would not ever stay again as we believe functions are most weekends. The Ibis in a city centre the previous night was far quieter, air conditioned and much more pleasant to stay in.
Location and service
Comfy beds, really attentive staff and a fantastic meal in the adjoining restaurant, well done guys and gals. Even got a fan when asked (before we left the motel on our tour) really good service.
Ground floor gets a bit of light from the car park bust no biggie..
food was excellent
sitting in lounge with TV on
Great food & staff
Friendly welcoming staff. Lovely setting. Delicious breakfast. Large en-suite room. Great ambience.
Poor quality polyester/cotton bedding with big rips down the side of the duvet cover. Foam pillows. Tired towels. Overall note - Replacing the bedding/towels would transform this lovely room in a great hotel to a fantastic room.
The restaurant/bar area was very nice as was the location
decor was very dark and outdated, room had a weird stale like smell and tv DVD player didn't work.
Absolutely loved our visit to northover its like finding a little bit of France in somerset we honestly can not fault this beautiful hotel can't wait to return
Loved everything except we would of liked to stay longer but couldn't due to work
We only stayed for one night. The room was clean and comfortable. Breakfast was delicious and staff very friendly and helpful. I would stay there again and would recommend it to friends.
Good Breakfast Good Parking Helpful staff big bathroom
Walls a bit thin TV small
When a taxi failed to show up, a member of the staff drove me to the train station, some 15 km away. Quite uncommon.
Ground floor rooms a bit noisy because adjacent to car park.
Delicious evening meal and breakfast.
