Northumberland Kings Cross Hotel  

This hostel, I cannot bring myself to call it a hotel, was absolutely disgusting!! The first room we were given had vile, vulger explicit graffitti written all over the walls, it looked like a prison cell and when we walked into the room my 11 year old daughter actually started crying, she was so scared. We asked to change rooms and we were given a better room, but it was still very dirty and we felt unsafe. We didn't use the wash facilities as they were all filthy. Luckily we were only there for a few hours whilst we waited for our Eurostar connection, we wouldn't have stayed if it had been any longer and we will certainly never go there again. Booking.com should not promote this Hostel !!!!

Health and Safety nightmare. Dingy and dirty.

There is nothing I liked about my stay at the "hotel" except its location and access to transport

The room I was in was disgustingly dirty, it smelled of urine, and I would go as far as saying its a health and safety concern (I would know since I have a masters in Public Health), the walls had stains of water running on them, a pipe from the toilet ran through the room and the way the room smelled I fear it leaked into the room. The over head light was only held together by very loose free wires; and the bathrooms, God have mercy! How this "hotel" has 2 stars is completely beyond me

Almost everything... Very bad conditions

It was very near the seminar I went to. The price was excellent. The staff were helpful and accommodating.

Just that the shower and toilet were very basic. However fine for the price. Despite this I would stay there again.

Water, who actually wasn't there, just a poor neverending dripping from shower and sink!

Good value of money helpful stuff open for changes in order fair as for the price but do not expect comfort for it but not so bad anyway and good central location

Excellent location, literally meters away from Kings Cross St Pancras Tube Station, staff were very helpful and polite.

This is definitely a cheap and cheerful place to stay - don't expect the world. Rooms were a bit grubby and smelt like stale smoke. We upgraded to an en-suite, but there was no mirror in the bathroom - impossible to shave!

I didn't like anything. The dirtiest hotel I have ever seen. There is no sanitation control for hotels in London?

The location is good. Just opposite King's cross station.

The cleanliness is horrible. When we steps into the hotel, the smells is so bad around the ground floor. The rooms and the bathrooms are extremely dirty and horrible. Walls are dirty. The water sink and fridge is not working. The smell is like bad egg. What you can see in the room is just two bed and nothing. We intended to stay for three nights, but we cancel the 2nd and 3rd one and choose to stay in other hotel.Don't expect anything in this hotel except location.(but you can still find many similar price places which is close to underground)

Do not believe the photos! This hotel has a premium location - but is literally falling apart! Very untidy, puddle on the floor of the "tea- room"! Bathrooms, showers etc. are very unclean and out of order!! The charge for this hotel is for the location only! And that means it's not worth the money spent!!

I did not like it and never go there again
