Not far from town
Expensive breakfast multiple potential aditional charges Wifi not working heating poor
Good sized rooms, great location, friendly staff
Having to wait half a hour to gain entry even though I arrived after the check in time. Bed was very uncomfortable and cleaners left door open on 2occasions.
Staff 'seemed' nice when we checked in
The room was directly over the function room with a wedding reception going on but we weren't told , we could hear every word the dj said ! The shower wouldn't switch off which I was told was my fault , the temperature of the shower wouldn't adjust which was also my fault ! Staff couldn't be more rude argumentative and unhelpful if they tried !!! WE WILL NOT BE RETURNING !!
Very cheap hotel but very good value for money at the same time! 25 to 30 min walk from the city centre or a cheap taxi. A small room but all general facilities.
There is one very unfriendly and rude male staff member. No key card facility in this hotel! It is also a lengthy distance from the airport.
Few things needing attention
We did enjoy that we had acces to balcony, perdect for your morning coffee!
Friendly staff Very close to city centre
Had no ice for drinks from the bar.
roof over head
Very noisy Worn Dirty Credit card fee WiFi not included Unsympathetic staff
The plate on which the breakfast was served was 'hot'. The member of staff present in the morning was friendly and helpful.
The room was cold on arrival. The curtains did not fit. The room was not only extremely tired in decor but was filthy in places with large gaps in tiles on bathroom floor. The room was absolutely tiny - I am not tall and could lie on bed and touch both walls. The hangers in the wardrobe were cheap and not clean. The cupboard space was unfinished plywood/mdf - so I left my stuff in my overnight bag rather than leave it on any 'shelf'. I paid for breakfast - the coffee was appallingly cheap and bad (cold and tasted woeful). Bread left out for toasting had obviously been around a while and the top two slices were rock hard. The cooked breakfast was 'slim' and of very cheap quality. Overall, I wish I had realised there was a Travelodge nearby as I would have stayed in that any day rather than in this poor excuse for a hotel. I will not be staying again nor could I recommend it to anyone. Find somewhere else nearby, I am sure it couldn't be worse that this hotel which might have seen better days - but, if so, they were many decades ago. There are many hotels nearby offering value for money - as well as some B&Bs. The nearby shopping centre serves an 'all day' breakfast which is far superior and evn costs less. Although this hotel is at the cheaper end of the market - you do not even get what you pay for, so I cannot count it as good value. Unfortunately, I chose to ignore other reviews and take a chance - wish i hadn't.
Good location, I felt safe wakling back after dark. Large supemarket near by is convenient for buying dinner as there is no room service. Good service at breakfast. Clean and comfortable enough room.
Very basic and dated deco. No lift and its a bit of a maze, so negotiating stairs with a suitcase could be tricky. I wasn't offered any help to get me and my bag to the room. The shower was a bit tricky to operate and wasn't exactly a power shower.
The location is fine within 10 minutes drive to the centre
The bed was dirty with hairs under the matters, the tv is so tiny and internet is not free
Location, value for money, cooperative staff, and comfort
free internet is available in public area only.
The most comfortable nights sleep I've had in a long time.
Charged for broadband and use charged for debit or credit card
All staff attitude they are excellent service, car park
The hotel nee TLC, they don't have a room service
The staff was very helpful and friendly. A very nice and clean room.
Convenient Cost efficient Friendly staff Basic bur comfortable stay
Small room and toilet
the location was fine, good local buses in to princess street and to the zoo. the staff were very friendly and helpful. the room only basic, but fine didnt spend much time in hotel.
the noise, was room 1 first room up the stairs, heard people passing, into the early hours.
Couldn't have a shower in room no privacy. V small room for the price we paid but had a good sleep
It has a private parking area, the place is clean.
It started off with the receptionist trying (maybe unintentionally so) to charge me £10 more than advertised. It got sorted out, but it required some talking. Then, finding your way to the second floor is not obvious. I stayed in room 24. The bedroom area is fine, the bathroom is functional but I am sorry to say the finishing job is terrible; the bathroom door doesn't close nor does it lock (it seems someone tried to slam it shut and crushed the lock), the door leaves an inch-wide gap with the floor and is not even cut straight. It all works fine but could do with some attention. All in all, it turns out to be expensive for the service offered.
Nice room with street view. The room is clean and the shower is powerful.
It was handy for nipping into town yet far enough out for a peaceful quiet nite breakfast was 1class
Nothing I could fault for the prices
Terrible wifi Poor selection on continental breakfast
everything was good as I had expected
