Easy to find, comfortable to city centre. free parking. Very small cramped rooms, shower in the room and hard to move around. Definitely a single room for the price of double. Double by no standards. |

Breakfast room and continental breakfast was reasonable but basic, Booked a twin bedded room (requested lower floor) was given a room containing a double bed and a single bed set up for 3 people on the second floor with very little space to move around in. The bathroom was extremely dated and the toilet pan was very stained, mould in the shower cubical and broken ceramic tiles. Would not recommend this hotel to anyone. |

breakfast The party downstairs on Sat night worried me, however, when we closed all doors and the manager reassured me that it would finish at midnight, which it did, I was content. |

The duty manager Steve was excellent. He was very helpful, very polite and he made us welcome. We really enjoyed our stay. The Hotel was not as I expected but because of the service we recieved it ruled out any minor issues. |

the cleanleness of the rooms left a lot to be desired, there was not constant running hot water only in the morning and late at night |

Not alot to be completely truthful - that said the location is excellent for the city centre. Most things - the decor and presentation of the room was very tired looking, well worn and basic. The breakfast cannot be defined as continental by any stretch of the imagination. |

least concerned about cusotmer service probably not bothered at all and no inclination to listen to cusotmer problems. Rooms were tatty. heaters did not work in the night leaving us cold through out the night.we literally had to remind the staff to put the heating on each night. no shower gel provided in the Hotel. no attention to details. cold boiled eggs served during the breakfast which the least they could do to improve the quality of B/F. will never stay again, ever !!! |

I think the best value for money, I hope they keep it this way! In the older part of the hotel, they could change a few things in the corridor (eg; lights)... this could make a huge aesthetic difference, because otherwise the rooms are fine! |

Convenient location on bus routes to city centre, friendly and helpful staff, pleasant continental breakfast, good value for money. Decor was a little 'tired' and the noise from the road was loud in bedrooms on the front of the hotel (better soundproofing would be useful). |

The staff was very helpful and polite. The included breakfast, while simple, was filling and well-prepared. The housekeeping staff was a bit lackadaisical. The shower gel container in the shower was empty the first day. We removed it and set it on the floor of the shower as a hint and it was still not replaced the next day. We had to stop a staff member and request a refill. The carpets did not appear to be vacuumed AT ALL during our 3 days there. The heating system was also a bit unreliable. Our first night there, the hot water radiator didn't appear to come on until the early morning hours so we had a couple of cold nights. There are no telephones in the rooms or lobby that allow outside calls, although the owner did allow us to use his personal cell phone to make reservations for a tour. |

The couple running this hotel were lovely and very considerate towards us. My wife did not come down for breakfast and on leaving we were offered yoghurts to take away as she had not had anything. The previous comments about the simplicity of the continental breakfast had concerned me and my wife prior to our arrival but it was not like that at all. There was a buffet styled breakfast with cereal, rolls, yoghurt etc, etc. Overall it was a fantastic stay and we wish we had stayed longer. Many Thanks to you both. |

The hotel was only minutes away form the city centre The rooms were very basic. There was no restuarant facilities so we had to go out at night to find a suitable place to dine. |
