Good breakfast, comfortable spacious room, friendly staff
Location and clean room
Room small with uncomfortable chairs. TV did not work properly. Lock on door was broken when we arrived. Shower was awful
The staff were very friendly and helpful. The towels were fluffy, the breakfast was very good. The position of the hotel was great in terms of the town and the sea.
The apartment was shabby, the carpet was not pleasant, the paintwork was knocked about, the bottom sheet didn't fit the bed, only one bedside light should have been two the twin room had no lamps at all. Not enough drawer space. The fronts of the drawers of the bedside tables came off in our hands, mould in the shower panels they smelt. The kitchen was not well equipped, no oven gloves no tea towels not cloths. All together for three stars I did expect better than this
Staff were helpful, breakfast very good, good parking.
Noise from plumbing, outdated water system although water pressure good in shower.
Location Most staff helpful
Wedding taking place-no place to sit and relax
The staff were approachable and always smiling. The breakfast was very well presented and very good and there was never a feeling of being rushed. The atmosphere was a happy one and we will return most definitely! Thank you Norton House Hotel, very much indeed!
Excellent location with plenty parking.
Poor value for money. Rooms were tired. Poor bed. Bathroom dated. Live wires behind window shutter. Food expensive. Been going here for 20 years but will not go back.
Off road parking, quality and variety of food, quiet evenings. Friendly and efficient staff.
Early morning functions can create noise with attendees gathering outside front door for a smoke.
Pleasant food and staff
Room was ok but the en-suite was more like a tardis in the corner of the room. It had swing doors and lit up like a Christmas tree if one of us went to the bathroom in the middle of the night, walking up the other person. Would not choose this hotel again for this reason.
The room we occupied was ok but the bathroom was extremely mouldy round the bath. There clearly was a leak from the bathroom ceiling before as there was a crack in it. Whilst we were there the ceiling leaked again from the room above. Also where the room was situated in the car park it was noisy.
We had the early bird menu every night. Three courses of wonderful food. Staff were lovely, the chef even made a fish pie without prawns especially for my husband who has a prawn allergy really could not have wished for a better holiday
Location was the only thing that was positive about the hotel
The walls in the room were very thing providing little privacy. The crockery at breakfast was no clean and some was chipped. It was not possible to pay the bill and check out before 7 am
Friendliness of staff, breakfast, lovely room in main building
In need of updating
Lovely big bedroom Jacuzzi bath Friendly staff Good position
They didn't have any gluten free bread - need to request it in advance.
Location was good, breakfast was enjoyable and staff busy and helpful.
We stayed in room 12A, room ok but the bathroom needed attention, bath panel was split and mold around bath, ceiling showed signs of a leak.
Fab location, lovely building
mouldy bathroom, dirty room average tasting breakfast.
breakfastfacilities breakfast-great choice
Cleanliness of room. limited lounge facilities for residents. amateur en-suite facilities for superior double room standard
The Hotel is nice and the breakfast and service very good. It's about a 20 min walk down to the main part with pubs restaurants on the front but that was OK for us.
We paid £112 for a Superior Room. The room was very small and the shower fitment needed attention, meaning that you couldn't stand under the shower. There was no special view so we couldn't work out how it was Superior rather than Standard (just plonking down some dressing gowns on the bed doesn't make the room Superior in our view)
Staff friendly and welcoming. Downstairs was very presentable, breakfast was cooked beautifully
Room 5 needs a new carpet desperately-so stained. Bed legs need a good dusting. Ensuite door is a bit unsightly, no lock. also the light fittings had cobwebs -1 bulb worked, one other was missing from the socket and the other bulb was just broken. Such a shame
Apartments were great, location fabulous. Good really good.
Not much to not like.
Accomodation was perfect. Location Brilliant , food both at breakfast and evening meal first class.
The accomodation could do with new carpets + a spring clean ie , shower + fridge dirty
The location was perfect for a visit to the Mimbles. Food was great and accommodation was wonderful
Room 2 was listed as a Superior room but the standard room we moved to was excellent and much better.
nice location in the Mumbles, nice appartment, large and confortable.
The TV set didn't work as the remote control was missing, and it was still in the same state after 2 nights. The staff didn't seem to pay attention to our request. Waste found behind the sofa. A nice kitchen but not enough equipped (cutlery, plates and glasses).
Location, room size, good breakfast
hotel needs updating, wifi poor... had no TV in room when we arrived although they got us a small portable when we asked
