“ We had a fantastic stay at Norton House. Our room was beautiful and had all of the extras in our room that can really make a difference to a stay. This included fruit, biscuits, a rose, beautiful toiletries, sewing kit and many more items. We were very impressed right from the beginning. ”

What can I say about Norton House We had a fantastic stay from beginning to end we stayed 1 night (would liked to have stayed more)the welcome was tea and cake it was excellent, the room to, it had everything you could think off even down to plasters. Now for the breakfast it was great everything was there fruit, cereal and a choice of cooked breakfast (we have stayed in many hotels which don't have this choice). So all I can say is go and try it. The price is excellent value. Thank you we had a lovely time. Having to leave.

This b&b has a relaxing & welcoming ambience. Rooms were charmingly furnished to a high standard, with thoughtful "extras". Tasty, beautifully cooked & presented breakfasts from an imaginative menu. I have no adverse comment to make

For a B&B standards and comfort were exceptionally high easily rivalling many 4/5 star hotels. Strongly recommend for a very pleasant short break.

The room was a good size and very comfortable, also lovely bathroom. Breakfast was of a good quaily with locally sourced products. Welcome tea/coffee and chocolate brownies were a lovely touch after a long drive. Traffic noise could be heard in the room even with the shutters closed. The location is a little way from placs to eat; a car was required.

Arrived little before check-in time but warmly greeted with pot of tea, biscuits and friendly chat by host. Rest of stay followed this pattern - informal, friendly helpful, available. High quality bathroom products. Breakfast time was good too with a single large table for everybody which gave a family-like feel to the meal. A happy stay and I would go there again. family

Jayne & Bill were excellent hosts, their knowledge of the area was very helpful. The room was cosy & had all the facilities you would expect in a 4 star hotel. The breakfasts were excellent & the chocolate brownies we were offered on our arrival "were to die for"!!

Lovely couple running the B&B, couldn't do enough for us. Provided extra information such as taxi numbers and places of interest to visit and suggested a number of local pubs for eating. The room was lovely, very friendly, relaxed atmosphere with lots of extra touches such as coffe/ tea and homemade cake on arrival and some fresh fruit in our room. Brilliant choice for breakfast, all homemade or locally sourced and made to order. Perfect position for the surrounding area to explore. Will defintely be visiting Norton House B&B again.
