Clean and quiet, with a very comfortable bed and bed linen. Great shower. Nice view. Good lay-out downstairs in bar. Quite an awkward pedestrian entrance. |

We thought the charges very reasonable. But particularly we were impressed with the helpfulness of the staff - here I would like to mention Shaun at reception on the morning of the 5th June who reset my Satnav, and Samantha in the restaurant on the evening of the 4th whose smile and cheerfulness made us feel very welcome. Well done all the staff. |

Friendly welcome Air conditioning was very poor. A call during the night resulted in the night staff "boosting" the air conditioning which had some effect in reducing the temperature. However, the noise was intrusive and disturbing during the night. A pity as the room itself was good. It might have helped if the room had been cooled prior to our arrival particularly after a warm day. |

Casual and relaxed atmosphere with helpful reception staff Table clearing outside the coffee shop on the river front seemed to be non existant. It was hot outside so the area was seeing a steady flow of customers. All the tables seemed used with no pots cleared. It was around 13:00 hrs. |

Room was clean, good conditions, tea and cafe available in the room. The hotel is just opposite the railway station and for those who need there are direct buses to the East Anglia University. Internet should be provided free of charge. Anyway the prices of the internet are very high. |

Staff extremely helpful and courteous.Restaurant serves good quality food at a reasonable price. We also had a very pleasant view from our room and the car parking is a big asset for a city hotel. Too many corners cut with no bedroom or bathroom accessories eg.tissues ,shampoo etc. |

The position is exelent. The service of the hotel staff was very good. The room was clean and airy. The food was good and reasonably priced. There was adequate parking. I had no control of the temperature in my room. The breakfast arrangements were to say the least poor, one had to ask for everything bearing in mind it was supposed to be a bufet. |

Proximity to rail station and shops. Scenic view of river and gardens. Friendliness of staff. Invoice charged for breakfasts twice. No armchairs provided. Only one set of towels for two people. All these rectified by request. No drawers provided, everything open using shelves. No toilet rolls, only single sheets of paper. No saucers for cups at breakfast. Both sides of door labels indicate not to make room up. Desk lamp was of halogen type giving not enough light. |

It was Saturday night, and a load of hoodies and hen-night screamers were checking in. I asked if I could have a 'quiet room' and the brilliant desk person put me in a secluded family room at no extra charge. What a star! Sunday morning breakfast on the the river-view restaurant in the April sun was great- buffet decent, staff pleasant... |

The location is good.Although it is situated on a very busy road that really comes to life after dark. We were not disturbed though and had no trouble sleeping. The free on site parking was good and the hotel very easy to find. We found the rooms more than adequate with a very good shower. All in all a pleasant stay. |

Perfect location: opposite railway station, convenience store just outside, short walk to cinema, restaurants (including takeaways) and tourist sights. Free parking. Modern bedroom, spotless bathroom with powerful shower. Good breakfast with nice service. Air conditioning a bit noisy. |
