Cleanliness & the breakfast (2 of everything)
The attitude of the "cleaner" who incidently dealt with my invioce. She said that breakfast was till 8.30 & check out was 9am. There was a sign on the back of my door saying check out was 10.30 but I got the impression she just wanted to get rid.
Lack of food facilities in the area for a lady on her own.
Arrived late afternoon Saturday, check in was not till 430 pm a bit late , but met at the door , room was lovely , place was nice and quiet , breakfast on Sunday was fab , nice friendly host. Only complaint when I booked it said pay on arrival , I booked in September for this January but my card was charged immediately not as specified on booking.com
Charged for room 5 months before stay , not as stated on website
The breakfast was amazing. Good quality produce that was extremely tasty
The stain on the duvet cover
Very nice room and comfortable bed.
Not happy about being asked to leave by 9 as I had been to an army reunion and had been drinking, also no breakfast provided at the so bed and breakfast.
The location was good, a short walk from town and opposite the football ground. Clean room Everything you need in a small room, including tea making facilities & rails for hanging your clothes. Shower and bathroom were small but fine
Nothing bad to report
Very friendly host. Got a free upgrade to a double room. Very clean with good facilities. No problems with the accommodation what-so-ever.
Not really the fault of the establishment but I had problems finding the place. For some reason my SatNav sent me to the adjoining village although on the correct street. Entrance to property hard to distinguish especially in the dark. Do not serve breakfast till later for personal reasons.
Nice rooms comfortable
Current owner.... very arrogant and wanting to leave the business No idea if wifi connection and no-one to ask!
Good sized room and location
No hot water or heating on first morning of stay and no water at all on the day of leaving - there had been a flood apparently but nobody bothered to tell us!!
Always a nice welcome from the proprietors and then they let one get on with things, and then always a nice goodbye, too. The food is good quality, well prepared and well presented. I feel very comfortable at Norwood.
Some early morning road noise from my room at the front of the building - but I do like to have a window open all night.
Despite the fact that the owner had a family emergency, we were looked after perfectly, given a proper talk on how to work appliances and given a proper breakfast courtesy of the pub across the road, free of charge. Bed was so comfy. Shower was easy to use. So clean and homey.
Wifi signal was poor. Couldn't connect to the internet to do some work.
Comfortable Clean and quiet. Nice pub across the road
Staff could not have been more helpful. Highly recommended.
Noisy plumbing in my room
Lovely room quiet and a good nights sleep.the room was lovely Staff were very welcoming
Nothing it was vert welcoming...can't complain.
Homely feel. Clean & a great breakfast..
Spoken to like a school boy when we arrived.. His personal problems were forced upon us.. Told in no certain terms what we could & could not do.. We felt very uncomfortoble to say the least.. Would not return......
Great bed, lovely room awoke top a fantastic breakfast Lenny Henry would be jealous
Very attentive. Paid close attention to my additional requests. Great nights sleep. I will be staying again when next in the area.
The room had everything we needed, well supplied, clean and comfortable. The owner (Stuart) was helpful and friendly. Excellent (any choice you want) breakfast.
Nothing it was a good guest house - our second visit and would not hesitate to book again.
There were nice touches throughout the property. Beds were comfortable and the breakfast was hot and very nice. Enjoyed the DVD selection.
A bit tight on parking spaces and stairs were particularly difficult for a partially sighted person. The booking system apparently did not pass on the special requests made at the time of booking resulting in not receiving the twin room.
Put it this way, I will deffo go back :)
Very warm and welcoming host. Didn't want for anything as it was all in the room. Lovely breakfast cooked to order
Made to feel very welcome by the owner. Room was spotless and very comfortable. Every home comfort had been thought about and was all available in the room. Breakfast was excellent, great quality food.
