But otherwise a bit rough around the edges. Very rough outside but a bit better inside. Our room was equipped with a kitchenette but we were told no food in the rooms so we didn't use it. The shower was great. Breakfast was simple but ample.

The pictures made me think I was booking in to a luxury hostel but it really wasn't. There was a busy bar on the ground floor and I was dubious about the safety of my car overnight.

The location is very close to the city center, castle, and train station. The interiors are bright, looks renovated, and the room was spacious for 3 people (with an extra leather sofa). Bar downstairs, breakfast in the morning (including fruits).

Shower is very tiny. No elevator (in case you have heavy suitcases).

Friendly and helpful staff, location near city centre and Bute Park, parking space available, breakfast included.

A bit noisy caused by the wooden floors when people at the storey above were going.

Excellent hostel, great staff and facilities. We had a great private room w/en-suite which was pretty good value for money.

Flat pillows. I'm sure if we asked we could have got different ones or a second pair. Also we were above the outside bar and although the bar closes at 11:30 during the week, people were still outside way past this time.

We were very pleased with the location (for the price), the size and amenities (such as the small kitchen area and tv) included in our private room, and the shared areas of the hostel. We would definitely return.

The floor was a bit dirty, but that would be our only complaint.

excellent location, free private parking, staff are very flexible.

breakfast *very* basic. a bit overpriced. for the same price you could get a room in a normal hotel (but with no parking and no breakfast).

Fabulous location! My partner and I had a double en-suite room which had french doors that opened out onto the river, with a brilliant view of the stadium. The room was very clean and amazing value for money. I was somewhat sceptical of staying in a hostel at first, but I feel that the standard of the room was much better than what we paid.

There was a very noisy group of lads staying in the room next door. Not a fault on NosDa itself but something to be wary of if looking for a quiet evening

    Location. Car park.

Room was directly above a busy and noisy bar, music didn't stop till after 2 and then staff put it on again at 7.30 for breakfast! Why anyone wants pop music at breakfast I can't fathom. Our room was directly above the bar so this made sleep impossible, it was so bad that we left a day early so we wouldn't have to endure it another night. The bathroom we had was so dirty we had to go and buy cleaning supplies for the shower before we could use it. The room had dead spiders and flies smashed into its window blinds as well as cobwebs everywhere. Finally the continental breakfast was toast and cereal, and only 3 cereals at that. This "budget hotel" is a hostel first and foremost and only back packers should consider going.

The staff were really friendly and helpful. The atmosphere in the hostel was really relaxed and the breakfast was great. The best bit was really large room with full length windows beside the River Taff! Location was excellent too; a very short walk to the Cardiff city center or a lovely walk along the river to the bay.
