Nothing was good about this hotel, it was horrendous. Me lift my case up the stairs, even though I explained I had an injury on the booking form, do not stay at this hotel there are many nicer ones all around it. The staff were unbelievably rude really! I felt so upset. The room had no wifi and the sheets had not actually been changed, all in all a terrible experience, I couldn't sleep the whole night.

It has a good rooms and excellent situation, near of all trasports and the Hyde Park. The breakfast's room was very little. It was difficult try to sit down in a chair because you didn't have enough space.

The hotel is centrally located in a lovely area. The staff were friendly and our room was clean and reasonably sized, with 2 double beds. Our room, room 10 had a pretty balcony overlooking the street. Breakfast was basic- cheese, toast and cereal. The breakfast room was very cramped.

Location We should pay our stay in advance, which is very unusual (and not on the booking confirmation) We couldn't leave and get a refund even though nothing was as promised The room was to small The bathroom is very small. There are no heating, no places to put your toilet articles, the smallest sink in the world with a broke faucet and no hot water The curtains does not cover the window and are made of a material, which doesn't keep the sun out The wi-fi connection was very unstable The "restaurant" has nothing to do with a restaurant. It is a very small room without any windows or fresh air – and during the opening time it was completely packed and impossible to enter for a family of 4 Unfriendly staff

The room (1) was so weird in its design and I really loved it. Everything was very comfortable and extremeley pleasant. The breakfast was very basic and more hot choice would of been nice.

I like the hotel because the location is the best, because its in the main route for transportation, you go to city center with just one bus,and lots of different number of busses using this main road. What I don't like is the stairs of this hotel, too many stairs to climb,if you stay at the 1st and 2nd floor,it is still.ok,but to.climb until 3rd and 4th floor, the steps become too steep,as for senior it is painful.

Lovely staff, courteous and helpful. Great location. couldnt ask for more for the price but if the on-season price goes up, then... Few Things: The policy of holding bags once people check out only till 1pm and then charging for it is not very helpful. very often people have a late flight out and will be stuck with their luggage all day in such cases... Also, one of the pillows in my room had a sweaty stink to it, which, in spite of the clean new covers, didn't go away... Rooms don't afford space to unpack luggage but in London hotels, this is a common problem...

No frills, good value, out of season when we were there. Excellent location and transport connections by bus and underground. Ventilator shaft, not window, in our basement room is ok for overnight in London at a budget price. Tight Fit. Shower room clean and modern with emergency toiletries. Tight fit. Breakfast not good quality nor variety, but adequate and fair. Our room provided sleep/wash/breakfast. If you want to lounge/relax in room or Hotel go elsewhere (or stay out of the basement?). Key Points are No Frills/Good Value. Will use it again. Cramped two double-bed basement room with airshaft in place of a window is not a room 2 mature people would choose. Thin walls and sanitary pipe noises predict little sleep in the busy times.

We stayed there for 4 nights and it was great for the value. Everything was cleaned in time; a hot shower comes great at night after a long day of walking; service was not bad; sheets aren't very soft but still can be counted to a comfortable bed; also several channels on tv to kill time at night, plus a good wireless internet. Rooms are small but since it's an old house in London, that can be omitted, the place is not very easy to find if u're not very familiar with the maps. Some people say the room for breakfast is very small but unfortunately, we didn't get up early enough to see the room~~

Its location and friendly staff. The breakfast is good but they might need to provide a bigger room. It is rather uncomfortable to enjoy breakfast knowing others are waiting for their turn.

Location is good with just 2 min walk to the tube. The rooms are clean, staff is helpful and friendly. Room was tiny, and I do mean tiny! No floorspace or closet to put your things. Bed was hard and uncomfortable, just a mattress on a wooden underlay. Toilet and shower area was extremely cramped and cold, not heated by a radiator, it also had the loudest fan in the world which was on for 10 minutes after you turned it off.

The hotel is excellent value for money and is ideally located. The only criticism I have is the room I stayed in (room 8) was next to a toilet and also a door down to the breakfast room which was noisy in the mornings.

“Location was good with plenty of restaurants, shops and transport terminals. Also, Hyde Park almost on the doorstep. Very Good! Already earmarked it as first choice for next visit providing the price remains at same level.” John, Hull |
