Wi-Fi Location En-suite facility
No Lift Very narrow space in rooms breakfast/breakfast room No clear indication to find rooms
THERE IS NO DUVET AND THEY USE BED COVER AND BLANKETS BECAUSE THE DUVET IS "NOT HYGIENIC ENOUGH"!!!!!!!!!
The position is excellent
extremely small room, had to put cases on bed to dress and the cases were small. Little to no flow through shower. The third floor with narrow stairs is difficult to navigate with a case, for older person, there was no offer of assistance from desk (suspect he was busy on internet)
Not much traffic noise, so quiet enough to sleep. Clean, bathroom is up to date..
Breakfast room is small, not much to offer and not very nice. Rooms are so hot. We had 2 fans in our room. 3 flights of stairs with no lift.
Location was good.easy access to food, grocery, souvenirs, train n bus.
Everything is small n no elevator. Front desk staffs are not welcoming
+ The staff is the best we ever met - and we had been to a lot of places. + Hyde Park is one minute to walk. + Fish and Chips, shop, restaurant in 100 meters distance
- breakfast is meat free (still more than enough, we didn't even missed it, just for you to know)
The location is great. Just 2 mns from the tube station and the area is packed with eateries and restaurants. Good place to stay for just one night.
The breakfast was confusing. They were eggs in a basket but no clue as to what to do with them and no offer from staff to cook eggs for you. Fixtures in the room were falling off. TV wouldn't switch on.
Staff were nice
Not enough tea/coffee for the amount of people in the room and the breakfast room is way to small
Location is excellent Breakfast
Having to go upstairs to the third or other option fourth floor. Breakfast room tiny.
The Wifi connection was excellent
I wish the room were bigger.
Not a Darn Thing...
Eerie vibe. Quite uneasy feeling as soon as you enter. Staff peers over high counter without uttering a sound.Room keys must be left with them when leaving for the day which added to the feeling of being watched.Strange staff to be in the customer service industry.
Excellent location close to Tube. Room small but very clean.
Breakfast room tiny ended up eating elsewhere.
This hotel has a great location for people who want to visit London easily, very close to everywhere.
My room is on the 4th floor with a window that give you view of construction site which is not mentioned on the web. Of course, a lift is too luxurious for this establishment. Healthy people are welcome, old tourists please step back. The room door can't be closed quietly unless you give a big slam on it. This HOLEtel room of 8 square meters where gives you enough space to sit on the floor for two people, includes a double-bed and a bathroom with toilet. No cupboard, no chair, only the pure and essential comfort to having shower and to laying down, this nothing hill HOLEtel charges you more than enough for quoted price. Moreover, the cleanliness of this room is quite approximative. The only plastic cup provided in the bathroom for brushing your teeth is stained with the former occupant's toothpaste. Nearby, his or her contact lens dried on the wall. I really wonder how they clean up the bathroom without seeing these. Oh I almost forget that this HOLEtel provides you a continental breakfast such as bread, orange juice, fresh milk, boiled eggs, ect. If you want my opinion, go get your own breakfast outside that should be considered as reasonable. I had a real stomach problem after my first breakfast. Why? Undoubtedly, they don't really care about food hygiene, for instance, melted small cubes of butter on the table, boiled eggs that you can't really peel their shells, fruit salad in syrup waiting for you already for the last 24 hours in a bowl without lid and a plate of cheese partially dried. Good luck for the next deceived customers.
Location, 5 mins from portobello road. Breakfast very good have as much as you like.
We were in a room in the basement, very dark.
Old unconfortable room Terible crowded and low quality breakfast Tiny room
Free Wifi Good Location
One single bed and another bed equivalent to the size of 1 1/4 single bed in a three persons bedroom. Can't move in the shower room Very limited food items in breakfast
Staff Room Cleanliness Atmosphere
Dining room was horrible; you can't move. Stairs very dirty carpets. no lift
1. The Room: I had a room in the basement with a small window facing a wall about one metre away. When you entered the room you came in to a small corridor, toilet on one side and shower on the other. At the end of the corridor you you had to a step down in a "hole" to be able to get through the opening and then step up again to enter the "bedroom". 2. Breakfast: The breakfast room was also in the basement. Very small with no windows. The room was so small so even if it was crowded with tables you sometimes had to wait in a queue to get in. The tables in the breakfast room where so close to each other that it was impossible to use all the chairs at one time, it was too crowded. How Susanne from Ludvika can say the breakfast was good and it's value for money I can't understand. They even charged you for keeping your suitcase between check-out time and when you have to leave for the airport. I will never ever book this hotel again.
The location was the only thing worth commenting.
The room is tiny, I mean with three steps you cross the whole room. The beds were not actual beds but some kind of sofa-bed. There was no air conditioning. The room was almost invaded by some handymen that were working just outside our room in the terrace. The wifi was slow and didnt cover the whole room, in fact only the toilet room had good connection. Breakfast in two words: poor and depressing. And finally the higene was awful the room was not hoovered or cleaned properly, in the bathtub and sink we found every single time, traces of toothpaste and body hair, disgusting!!
I was put in the basement. I didnt get any answer when i emailed before arriving.no lift for my friends who were put in the 4th floor n no mention of basement nor lift when we booked.
there is no elevator, very small space for two people,it is hard to lift baggage for people with heart problem
Location was good...close to tube station, very close to Hyde Park and Kensington Palace.
No lifts/elevators...so if you have a lot of luggage...might want to take this into consideration. We were on the 4th or 5th floor and I remember the last 2 flights were steep.
Location close to centre of city, on bus and tube routes. Breakfast choice and quality was good. Bed was comfortable and bathroom was clean with plenty of hot water, towels, soap and shower gel provided. TV worked OK.
General appearance of hotel entrance was shabby. Exterior covered in scaffolding and foyer cluttered with boxes and tools being used for refurbishment. No lifts so climbing three floors to room was tiring. Room was very small with nowhere to sit except on bed. No cupboard space. Very small bathroom requiring contortionist skills to use the sink. Very little pressure in shower at night. Decor of the room rather tired with some dirty marks on walls. Scaffolding outside window with workmen climbing about early in morning. Breakfast room cramped with too many guests trying to squeeze into it at the same time.
Only location nothing more.
Don't book this hotel if anyone has family, this hotel only if you want just bed for one day or two maximum , no elevator, no room service , no bellman , help your self in everything, very small rooms , bad bathroom.
