Almost everything was to our liking especially the location.
Getting wi-fi was a bit problematic.
The location was excellent, next to the Notting Hill Gate of the central line, very close to Portobello markets, lots of nice restaurants and bars
Shower not convenient at all; no proper separation on the floor, water was everywhere after having a shower. No mobile shower head; only one fixed at the top... If you did want to wash your hair it was getting very challenging! Room temperature was very high and there was no way to adjust it; disturbing the sleeping quality
Location Kitchen Shattafa The ability to use the hotel's washing machine
No shower cabin Expensive
Better than a hotel - good facilities, safe and self contained
It was all good
Located on a quiet street, just 50 metres from Notting Hill tube station. Handy to shops, restaurants and Hyde Park. Spacious, clean, comfortable rooms. Nice furnishings. Good bathroom, well equipped kitchenette. Even though I had a basement room, it was still very nice. Definitely would stay here again.
The only negative about this place was the lousy wifi, constantly kept disconnecting.
Spacious modern room with table and chairs. Interesting building. Close to tube station, shops and cafes.Quiet building. Comfortable bed.
The noise of people returning late at night and staff arriving in the morning.
36 years ago, I lived in student residences a few door down. The rooms were not as good back then! Nice big rooms and high ceilings. Nice and quiet.
Good location. Atmospheric period semidtached house. Nice staff. Fair-size rooms.
Poor noise insulation. Military-style shower. Quite expensive.
Staff moody and a bit rude. No smiles no warm welcome. Felt a bit like we'd put them out by arriving.
Easy location and facilities were ok
The whole place smelt of cigarettes which made it uncomfortable to sleep in.
Location of the hotel
The first room we were given was very humid and very noisy. We changed the room after one day but this time bathroom hot water tap was not working. We told this and on the whole day we were out there was no attempt to repair. The next early morning the technician came but we were not ready yet. The rooms are not cleaned every day. They told us that this was their principle. This is the first time I see such an hotel cleaning the rooms in two days.
Location , roominess , staff
Bed very hard , bad lighting made it hard to apply makeup, widows need to be doubled glazed to block out noise
Very close to every things. The toilet has a sprayer (shattaf). This is great for Muslims and asian travellers. The management (operating manager) is so kind to let us check in early (1pm). He also allow us to stay in the room until 1pm in the day of check out.
no air conditioning, the lifts are so slow. the windows are very outdated.
Friendly and accommodating staffs..Good location and value for money..
Close to Tube Clean Comfortable
Location, free wifi, general cleanliness
musty smell in the apartment, windows didn't stay open so had to keep propping them up, an internal green dayglo light which you can't turn off meaning it's on the whole time trying to sleep
Stayed here for 2 nights on a business trip. Requested a quiet room which was on the lower ground floor, which meant no views but was nice and quiet. Great location, right by Notting Hill Gate tube station. Room was nice and spacious, very comfortable and clean. Kitchen facilities seemed adequate but did not get to use as was out most nights. Friendly staff at reception.
The open shower in the bathroom - means that pretty much the entire bathroom gets wet. Can only use the wifi on one device. Can feel a bit stuffy in the room at times.
Location - Notting Hill - Portobello Market - Central Line There was nothing else I liked. You stay here if you plan to be outside the majority of the time. It's also a 1 minute walk to the station.
- Shower floods the bathroom - View was a wall - Staff were not welcoming - There was hardly any light in the room. The main light was not working, I only had a mere lamp. - I only stayed here one night and found things I didnt like. I recommend this place for a short/weekend trip to west london.
Location! And the building looked superb.
There was no top flat sheet on the bed so it was quite hot with just the thick blanket on, so we had to request for it on our 2nd night. Also had to ask for two additional pillows (which we expected to already be in the closet), and more toiletries (because they weren't yet topped up on our 3rd day). When we asked it was granted immediately.
The location is a winner Lots of good restaraunts around the corner Tesco is around the corner And the winner is the tube station it's a minute away
Needs a little up gradation
Uncomfortable bed Pokey room Too basic facilities for the price Looked good in the pictures but was disappointing when got to the hotel
Very good location with regards to tube station. Very stylish accommodation and brilliant for a weekend getaway!
The room was in the basement, no air conditioning – although a large fan was provided which was noisy. The wet room tiles have been laid badly so the water runs all over the floor away from the drain – a handy mop is provided. The view was a white rendered wall about 3 feet away. I imagine that rooms on other floors are much better as the quality of the accommodation is quite good, just hope you don't get a basement room.
