Score from 1137 reviews Very good
The hotel was good, the staff were helpful and very pleasant. The inn next door for breakfast was very good. the breakfast was freshly cooked and of very good quality. Could be faulted
Served a good breakfast.
We had the room next door to the on site pub and at 8am a large bin Waggon tipped all the bottle making a huge crashing sound. Not what you want on a bank holiday weekend??
Restaurant, room, quietness, car parking.
I think Darren was asleep and a bit intoxicated on reception.
Great location, very friendly staff and just what you want from a hotel
Can't think of a thing!
When we arrived your receptionist Darren made a huge fuss over the fact that our booking was for disabled rooms. These were all that was available at the time of booking and we were made to feel extremely uncomfortable. My parents will be staying later in the month and i have advised them to look elsewhere. The bathroom also had a mass of pubic hair on the wall of the bath which was rather disgusting. As the room was next to the reception area i could also hear everything the following morning which led to an unexpected early morning. All in all a very unhappy experience and most certainly not worth the £80 of my well earned cash!!
Ample parking, good size room, comfy beds, lots of pillows, nice bathroom. Nice staff. Good playground area at eaterie next door.
Too hot and only a small fan which didn't make any difference. Despite all other comforts the heat proved a real barrier to sleep, I wouldn't recommend in summer. No fan in bathroom and a warning on the wall to keep door shut as steam could set off fire alarm!
Staff, all facilities as advertised.
Poor range of TV channels.
The food at the adjoining restaurant was unattractive tasteless and of poor quality .We could not recommend it.
easy bus transport to city centre
Staff were friendly and always smiling.
Relative to the other Inns I have stayed in (both in London) the building seemed more utilitarian and did not have the same level of facilities on site. Meals were in a separate building (it was rainy) and breakfast finished at 10. There was no safe in the bedroom.
Excellent public transport to cricket
Great location for Nottingham centre and Trent Bridge for Cricket.
Woken-up early two days running by deliveries and building works.Spoke to reception but got no positive response. Spoilt a good vacation.
easy to find with on-site parking good room and bathroom
With the window open (no aircon) to get some cool air there was noticeable road noise. Quite expensive considering no breakfast, so better value elsewhere.
dont go for dinner to the neighbour pub one hour waiting for fatty tasteless junk otherwise Premier Inn fine
1)The Beds were very comfortable which was the main priority with a busy week of driving. 2) The room was spacious. 3) The bathroom was a good size and not cramped like some other hotels. 4) On one night of our 5 day stay the next room had the TV on to loud. On two occassions i heard knocking on their bedroom door and at the second request the TV was turned down. I assume a staff member had done a corridor walk and resolved the situation before it escalated. Well done.
Location and size of room
Very basic and in need of restoration. No vending or chilled water available. Minimum quantity of tea/coffee. Food in restaurant awful
Staff very friendly and helpful , easy access into Nottingham.
Room was clean and comfortable - great.
No reception space to sit in
The cleanliness of the rooms and the situation which was ideal for the south of Nottingham. The staff were excellent and I was immediately given a refund after the electricity in my room had been off overnight which impressed me.
Great location for national water sports centre. Lots of car parking.
Pub not as good as a the usual beefeater.
Good location Helpful staff
Was given twin beds had to fix them together ourselves Not very clean Hot room Fan provided made loud noises and button was broken
all the staff seemed to be very happy and friendly room was very comfortable for the money couldn't fault anything
The size of the room and beds was excellent for a family of 4. Location was excellent and there was no noise from other guests, the pub next door or from traffic. Staff were helpful in arranging a taxi.
Overall the room suited our needs and was well presented but the bathroom was very tired... white paint on brown doors - needed a refresh. Room was very hot/stuffy and difficult to sleep at night - like being abroad! Breakfast next door was convenient and excellent choice of food however I thought 10:00am was a bit early on a Sunday to be throwing us out
Well positioned near main road but not too noisy from local traffic. Staff were all friendly and welcoming, clearly expecting us and relating us to others from our party. Breakfast was very good, again with the staff expecting us.
There was some noise from other guests as they made their way down the "quiet zone" corridor. Only one hand towel was supplied for 2 guests and one bath towel was removed after one night, rectified by receptionist. Internet access of 30 minutes free per night seems mean.
The reception was very friendly and everything was extremely clean. Breakfast was pretty good and there was more than enough food. It was at the "Fayre and Square" pub next door. I would recommend it!
Bed wasn't super comfy, but I still slept okay. It was very quiet!
