Just 1 mile from Nottingham city centre and on the city bus route, the Park Inn by Radisson Nottingham is located on Mansfield Road.

Next to Nottingham Castle, this hotel has a superb city centre location. Features include a restaurant, a bar and rooms each with a TV and private bathroom.

Opposite Nottingham Castle, Park Plaza has spacious rooms, a pan-Asian restaurant and an 11th-floor fitness centre with panoramic city views. The Old Market Square is just 100 metres away.
Score from 634 reviews Good
The rooms have been recently refurbished.
The WiFi was poor in the room. The restaurant is non existent, bar meals are poor, drinks are expensive, the design of the washbasin in the shower room (no bath) is poor. This hotel apparently is going to be a Double Tree by Hilton. Unfortunately it is charging Double Tree prices but has not finished its refurbishments. This used to be my hotel of choice in Nottingham but no more.
Loved the extremely comfortable bed with lovely bedding, was so nice and warm but didn't overheat. The walk in shower was very spacious with power shower or traditional hand held shower connection.
There was a wedding on with some children being fairly noisy - the Atrium style reception echoed any noise in this area to be much louder. Plus I arrived at breakfast 30 minutes before closing and there was very little hot food left despite it being very busy at that time.
Staff were friendly and helpful
DId complain twice about shaving light not working, but problem was never resolved after five nights stay.
The newly refurbished rooms are lovely.
Atmosphere in the lobby is cold and uninviting. The bar lighting is very harsh and cold even later in the evening. Breakfast in the bar area is slightly werid also. The design of the new bathroom taps in the new rooms is terrible you can't wash your hands without the water going over the back of the sink. Major design flaw which will cause problems later if not addressed.
The room was nice fully with all the things you need including shore caps extra pillows wifi and a big comfortable bed:-)
No gym, Resturant closed before 9. There's no bath
The room was clean and bed comfortable. Although a wedding reception was being held in the building it caused no ambient noise or echoes in the corridors nor any disturbance to one's slumbers. Ability to leave vehicle in the expansive car park after checking out at midday whilst visiting Nottingham City Centre in the afternoon. Convenient bus stop located immediately adjacent to the hotel access road.
Inability to check in before 15.00 hrs. Reception skills functional rather than welcoming. Both side lights in room not working. An annoying light on wall of bath / shower room which could not be switched off at night. No manual in hotel room of meal times or other services.
Sercure parking for my motor bike
The room was very luxurious and found no faults at all. Late checkout (12pm).
Large open plan reception/bar was empty and so had no atmosphere and wasn't very cosy. Distance into city centre was further than expected.
The hotel is in a lovely location. You are greeted by very friendly and helpful staff who looked after you well. The room had been refrebished to an excellent high standard, very clean.
A little disappointed with how the cooked breakfast was set out. Both my daughter and I caught our hands whilst trying to juggle the hot lids and spoons.
The hotel was good and new
The internet connection was poor. And one of the reception staff was so aggrisive and she did not tell us about any of the hotel facilites (e.g breackfast, resturand, wifi) she told that the cuples who been served before me but not to me.
The room is very nice and the quality of everything in it is really good. Even though renovations were still ongoing whilst I was staying there, they made sure that this happened during times that would least disturb guests.
Staff members at the bar were particularly abrupt and didn't know the menu. Whilst dishing up breakfast, the trays became so hot that I burnt my arm, when I said something about it they didn't bother apologising. I mentioned that they should probably have a sign up to say that it got particularly hot but on the second morning they still hadn't put something up, causing me to believe that they really didn't care.
Good smart welcoming hotel, felt very comfortable.
Rooms are excellent
Lack of leisure facilities and some times breakfast and evening food needs more options.
All staff where very helpful and polite
Breakfast was poor on both days, full English breakfast was soggy, nothing was crisp or fresh, left on a hotplate with lids on which made it soggy.
Hotel rooms which have been refurbished look nice but light in the bathroom which could not be turned off was frustrating.
Very disappointed with breakfast . Hot food overcooked on both mornings. Bacon which had probably been sitting there since 6.30am was inedible by 9.00am. Breakfast generally looked very basic for such an expensive stay.
Fantastic room with great bed :)))
Comfort and privacy. Bed was very comfortable. Breakfast was very good indeed. Staff were adequate.
The wedding going on at the same time meant the wedding guests demanded a lot of attention. I waited (without acknowledgement of the wait) at check in. The check in staff did not give me any indication of availability of the restaurant or alternatives for the evening. There was no hotel information (eating, room service, facilities) that I could find in the room and I looked through all the drawers. In the morning I decided to walk down the stairs near my room, rather than take the lift, and found myself in a darkened restaurant with screens blocking my exit at all points. I had to lift these out of the way to get out.
Food was good and reasonably priced room was excellent
Rooms new clean nicely equipped. Hairdryer was excellent.
Foyer lacked atmosphere although hotel still under renovation
The room is always clean, neat and well kept when we come back in the evening. The staff are courteous and friendly.
same breakfast menu everyday.
Room was very nice. Very spacious. Reception was nice and light.
Bathroom door missing a handle so unable to close it fully. Shower water spread all over the bathroom floor soaking virtually the whole floor. Were unable to stop the flow of the water in the toilet, it was continuous. Staff rather off -hand on reception.
Further to my stay with the above reservation number, I would like to make you aware we were unhappy with the service provided. Prior to booking the hotel, I had noted negative reviews on many sites but decided to go ahead anyway. Unfortunately, I will not be staying here again. My partner was called to confirm the booking and at no point was the deposit of £100 mentioned. After paying the large sum of £100.00 for one nights stay, this is something customers should be made aware of. However, we agreed to pay at our inconvenience on a current account debit card. We were assured by staff this was held by pre authorisation and would be repaid into the account when checking out. This was not the case as the following day we were advised the monies would take three days to clear. This has now affect either direct debits due to be collected from the account. Secondly, based on previous experience it is common practice for shampoo to also be provided when there is conditioner in the bathrooms. However, we had to request this from cleaners the next morning. The biggest complaint was due to the service received with breakfast. On arrival at 9.20 we waited over five minutes for bread to be replaced which is not acceptable. We stood and waited a further ten minutes in a queue for eggs and beans which were not replenished. Another customer was then forced to request staff for more. Despite seeing many people standing and waiting, staff were unaware most of the food had finished. The member of staff in question then asked what everyone was waiting for. This is not good customer service and from hearing customer's conversations and grumbles, I suspect other complaints will be made. When the scrambled eggs arrived they were dripping in oil, at which point I was most put off and we left to eat elsewhere. I do not usually make complaints however on this occasion, we were highly disappointed with the service received after paying a lot more than costs of other hotels.
Extremely friendly staff who make you feel at home from the minute you walk through the doors, peaceful hotel, even with a function on, the place was very quiet and relaxing, will definetly be staying again in the near future
The fact that I paid extra for breakfast, had to wait for the breakfast bar to be filled up as it was empty when we arrived and when I requested scrambled eggs they informed me that they had finished making and would not be making anymore.
Very pleasant staff. Good car parking.
Buffet breakfast. The bread toaster is so ancient it should be put in the bin. Most hotels have a booklet in the room describing meal times, phone numbers to contact reception or room service and air con; controls. None here.
