Nice room and decor- newly renovated. Good choice at breakfast and plenty of parking.
The bathroom door has frosted glass that is see through and the hotel room door opens revealing the bathroom door - could be quite embarrassing.
I particularly liked the relaxing atmosphere in the evening in the restaurant and the good caring service of the staff.
I did find the music in the restaurant was a little loud.
Well on its way to a fabulous make over! Our room was spacious, well appointed and extremely comfortable. Our lovely welcome from Dela on arrival, offered us great help an imformation about where to go in Nottingham Thankyou. Evening meal excellent great staff. Breakfast buffet style all good. Around great definitely Reccomend!!!
Restaurant meals first class at a reasonable price. Quality of room was excellent , breakfast was good with wide variety of choice
Nothing to dislike
Rooms are quality
The noise from the road quite disturbing.
Beautiful courtyard, great triple room, very clean, almost new furniture in the room, was a real pleasure to stay there. We will surely be returning if we ever pass by through Nottingham again.
I consider usefully to have a toilet brush at the bathroom, but this is just a very small inconvenience.
Staff friendly and helpful. They were dealing with a refurb' yet coped to provide a very good standard
Building work but got up graded so all good
Rooms excellent standard. Fridge good idea.
The receptionist on Thursday evening was the worst i have ever encountered she did not smile or even look up when she did speak her 1st words were everybody is booked in so you must have the wrong hotel i produced the booking form and she grudgingly then booked us in she then proceeded to demand £100.00 from my account in case we want to purchase anything and then implied that we were scum her name is Magdalana not very good for customer relations at all I work in a car dealership where customer relations is of upmost importance and this was not an example of how to meet greet and deal with customers. Dale Couzens.
Room and food and cleanliness
Bed was a bit hard
Room was spotless. Very new bathroom. Superb shower.(when we had water that is).
On the morning of our last day the water in our room was turned off with no warning. No shower, basin or toilet!! Barely an apology and certainly no offer of any recompense. To be honest its like they weren't even bothered. We had to leave much earlier than we'd planned.
5 star quality hotel
Location is a bit outskirts
Easy access to City centre and main road routes.
Did not achieve full effect of hotel due to the refurbishment works that was taking place.
big comfortable beds very helpful, pleasant staff
No mirrors to put on make up or do hair - very masculine rooms, desk set up for laptops, but no mirror for make up. Bathroom mirror too far away with very poor lighting for make up. Otherwise, lovely stay.
thee room was great.. very nice upgrade.. the new showers were nice.. the bed was comfortable and you could listen to the TV through a speaker in the bathroom which was an added bonus..
Morning falls Did not happen
Refurbished rooms had good soundproof and were finished to a high standard.Very comfortable indeed.
Bar and dining room experience. Staff friendly enough but very little clue on how to meet and greet with confidence. We were a group of 3 . There was another table being waited on so not exactly busy. Wine sat on table . First glass not poured . Waiter just walked away. Excessive wait time for starter . Disappointing when it did come. Top prices / lacking in portion size . Main courses of ready meal quality. Pizza looked and tasted like a budget supermarket Pizza. Overall , a costly and uncomfortable experience. I only hope the owners take heed as clearly they are investing good money in the refurbishment .
Refurbished rooms are modern, clean and very well appointed, with modern decor, new TV and high quality bathroom fittings
The hotel is undergoing a major refurbishment of the public areas, so lots of noise, dust and men at work. This didn't disturb sleep or impact on the guest rooms. Breakfast was OK, but at a very high quality level.
Superior double good size, we had a cot too and plenty of room. Great spacious hotel, will definitely visit again : )
Would be good to have somewhere to sit outside maybe garden area to sit and children to play. That would be my only recommendation. Everything else great : )
As a frequent business traveller, I can state this was one of the finest rooms ive ever stayed in. This is now going to be my companies choice of hotel in this area - when the refurbishment is complete, I imagine it to be even better.
There was only one set of towels in the room which was booked for two people. This is being picky as the staff took towels to the room in just under 15 minutes from the phone call informing them.
Very friendly staff, even though it was going through refurbishments the staff thought only about the guests to make sure we had a lovely stay The food was out of the world, amazing The new rooms were very nice, felt a lot more than just a 3 star :) Very pleased and will definatly stay again
The hotel is rubbish. There are significant building works going on which means it has very limited facilities. At no point during my booking was I made aware of this. £100 per night for a hotel like this is a complete rip off. I will not be using Booking.com anymore.
