The hotel was ideal for getting around and only a few minutes to the centre. Handy parking. Bar prices! |

location and parking facilities was fair. the price i paid for the room was business room so that we would have a larger room and seating area as advertised on the internet. however the room size given was standard. Very disappointed and feel that i paid too much for this stay. I donot agree on the star rating it should be 2 star! I questioned the room allocation and didnot receive a satisfactory answer. On the first night we were bitten we informed the hotel deputy manager who was very defensive and didnot call in pest control to check the room, we were moved to another room. The facilities were unhealthy, the changing room very unclean and the swim area was dirty. |

Hotel clean and quiet, good location with 'buses into town every few minutes. Good drenching shower. Breakfast not very warm at 0830; cold before I was half way through it. Scrambled egg looked disgusting; fried eggs baked hard as rock. Not good enough for £10.50. Good air conditioning in room but took a while to figure out how to set it to warm the room - no instructions. |

The hotel was clean and well presented in the main. The provision of the pool etc was a welcome extra for a very reasonable price. The bed was very comfortable and there was a flat screen tv in the room. The room was extremely small. There was a lot of noise at night from other guests. The floor where the pool access was had a very poor (wet looking) carpet, made the hotel look shabby. The reception staff were verging on rude. We stayed for two nights and everyone we encountered on reception was less than friendly. The hotel details said it was a mile from the centre, but it seemed a lot further....about £6 or £7 in a taxi. |

I liked the facilities at the hotel, my boyfriend is a gym freek so he loved that and I enjoyed the pool area. Alot of the other hotels dont have these facilities included in your say and for the price you get alot. Room service was good even at 5am you can get a sandwich. Staff are friendly and always on hand to help. The last thing I would say is dont be fooled by the outside of this hotel I know it looks like a cheap dirty motel but inside is not, its morden and very clean. The standard rooms are way tooo small. Im a big girl and my partner is 6ft+we kept bumping into each other, so we upgraded at a good price. The one other thing is we booked for 3nights over the weekend, sunday morning the clearner walks in asking are we not leaving!!!! She was strongly advised "no" |

Nice room - clean, everything was thought of - ie, hairdryer, iron. Perfect for our weekend base. Quite noisey - we were in room 370 and could hear everything in the corridor inc other guests and doors slamming which woke us up in the night and the next morning.. |

Friendly and helpful staff on check in. Fresh towels left outside the door after as the do-not-disturb sign was present which was helpful! Sand in the Hotel pool - and not the beach kind! |

We booked the hotel mainly because we wanted an on site car park and a gym. There were no issues with getting a space in the car park and we felt the car was safe. The gym served its purpose and we enjoyed an hour there, although it was small. There were several points which we were not pleased with. The room was small, despite having paid for a bigger business class room. Secondly, when you looked out the window you were faced with the vent for the swimming pool- both ugly and noisy at times. The first floor corridor smelled very strongly of chlorine from the pool- thankfully this didn't go into the room. The food in the grill was not great at all and service was only ok despite there only being a few groups dining at the time. We had booked for two nights. After a long day out we realised our key had only been coded for one night. Reception offered no apology. |

Clean hotel, comfortable and good choice for breakfast. Although breakfast was nice and there was a good choice, some of the cooked food available was cold. |

It was clean. Met basic needs. Breakfast had good choices although I think it cost a little too much. Room was a bit on the small side, but that was fine as we were hardly in it. First receptionist was brisk, impersonal, hardly looked at me when I spoke to her but all other members of staff were very friendly and helpful. |

Very convenient for city, the parking was a major attraction as not many hotels in Nottingham have this facility. Also on a major bus route to town if you don't want to walk. The rooms at the front can be noisey due to road traffic, we had a quiet room at the rear of the hotel. The check in staff could have been a bit more customer focused. |

Conveniently located with good facilities, this would be ideal accomodation for business users. The rainfall shower and flatscreen TV were particularly welcome. Rooms were small but well presented and perfectly adequate for a couple of nights. Bar and restaurant seemed nice although we didn't eat there. Having arranged a late checkout the night before leaving and being extremely pleased that this was not something we wouold be charged for (12:00 extended to 14:00), we were somwhat annoyed that housekeeping opened our door at 12:30 and walked straight in. Having said we had a late checkout we were then called by housekeeping at 1:00 to ask what time we would be leaving! We were treated with sympathy by reception but not offered compensation for these very rude invasions of our privacy. |

The staff are very pleasant and helpful. The room (upgrade) I had was stuffy and there was no minibar/fridge.The flat screen TV had no DVD facility or CD facility and was slow to use.The double bed which I specified was not provided but singles pushed together. The first room I was offered was very noisy from aircon plant outside the window, but when I mentioned this, the room was changed without question. It's hard to find your way around, reception not clearly indicated in corridors. |

efficiency of staff; swimming pool option; excellent shower facility in room; breakfasts; air conditioning in room. The pillows! - far too bouncy. My room overlooked the rear of the hotel: quiet as far as traffic, but also overlooking the bar and the area where smokers came; I could not sleep with the window open on Saturday as there was a function and the noise drifted up. Not really a problem (not as bad as the pillows!) but next time I shall ask for a roomaway from this. |

The Hotel in General was ok, but the plates in the breakfast room were wet, so you had to dry them with a serviette first, but the breakfast was generally good. The shower in our room did not drain properly and this was very uncomfortable and unhygienic, I mentioned this to the receptionist on the Saturday Morning, but nothing was done, so from a service point of view this was not good. I have given cleanliness of the room fair as a result of this. |
