Clean, quiet, nice to be by the canal (although in winter darkness you can't see it much!). Parking is a VERY handy thing - especially when you don't know the city. Reception girls always smiley even though they were multi-tasking quite a bit :)
Nothing bad to report. Would be nice to have 1 set of towels per person rather than per room... but a second towel appeared by itself (thank you cleaners!) as somebody must have seen my horrible towel and taken pity :) matt
The place was incredibly busy especially for breakfast, we had to wait for a table which was a 1st in a premier, however the staff were the hardest working I've ever seen in a premier inn and always friendly and with a smile. A work force to be proud of!!
Friendly Staff Parking Location to Capital FM arena and town. Comfort of the rooms.
We love the location. It is so easy to access. It is possible to walk to many places of interest and walk back
It will be good they can provide self cater service for laundry.
So handy for the Capital Arena. Very easy book-in. So friendly staff. Excellent breakfast. Go to Nottingham. Stay at Premier Inn. London Red. Brill
Nottingham is cold in December. Go to Tenerife.
The staff. They were overworked but remained cheerful and helpful.
Only one small towel in the bathroom. A larger one was supplied on request but there should be two sets in a double room. Just one lift which was slow in coming and at one stage was not operating at all. A single lift in a six story hotel is not sufficient A 55 minute wait for breakfast is not acceptable. I suggest the hotel should employ extra staff at busy times.I have stayed at this hotel twice before with satisfaction but am unlikely to do so again.
friendly helpful staff, even found out when Match of the Day was being shown (Man U had won 3-0 and I wanted to relieve it!!) Honesty about the food ie Average which encouraged me to have dinner in the hotel, it was quite good for a Sunday night. Very helpful staff with a sense of humour! Lovely large clean room with proper lights so I could work. Good breakfast!
poor wifi should be inclusive in the overall price
the whole experience, everything went smoothly staff were very helpful
can't fault it
Very near to the arena. HOTEL FACILITIES WERE EXCELLENT
Redecorated rooms. Good soundproofed windows.
Restaurant dinner quality was poor.
Comfy bed, clean and modern room
Area if hotel
Room was very clean. Staff were extremly polite.
Car Parking was charged over & above room rate.....not come across this before! The room we had (102) was on the 1st floor directly above the Main entrance to Reception. No excessive noise to speak of, but the sliding doors to the reception made a 'whooshing' noise every time someone either entered or left the building which you could easily hear in the room. Minor annoyance really.
The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. On arrival they allowed us to check in early and were very good at providing us with all the information we needed. The communal areas were clean as was the bedroom which was also very comfortable.
After dark the place changes. Once such guest had too much to drink and became unruly and violent. The shouting, swearing and crashing about does not make for a good night sleep and also scared and upset the children. The incident went on for far too long even after the police arrived to remove the idiot at 3am.
The whole experience wad great. Nothing else to say really.
In the present times I find it hard to believe that hotels actually charge for wifi.
Good Location Car park Friendly staff Lovely modern clean room Amazing bed No problems during stay Great restaurant Amazing hash browns!
The information I sent from booking.com about a specific room was not passed on
great breakfast and room was quiet even though on main road.Easy to find.
Was called an access room but disabled guest was unable to use the shower as you had to climb over bath side
Great location for Capital FM Arena and city centre.Staff very polite and helpful. Breakfast freshly cooked to order.
A very long wait for breakfast on Sunday morning well over 1 hour after placing our order, staff apologised.Room a bit cold heater didn't seem to work very efficiently.
This hotel was perfectly located for the FM Arena, a 2 minute walk away, as was the train station. The staff were great and nothing was too much trouble. As a single parent I find that I don't always get the type of room that I have asked for...but our room was exactly what I wanted. Peaceful, considering it's situated on a main road. The room was spotlessly clean and very comfortable. We enjoyed our stay so much Ive booked another weekend.
There is nothing that we didn't like
The staff were all very helpful, approachable and happy to have a chat. The hotel is close enough to the city centre. The food is great.
I have always found the staff at Premier Inns to be friendly and helpful but the staff at this hotel, despite or perhaps because they were all so young, were so friendly and helpful I mentioned it to the receptionist as I left.
The hotel is a little hard to find on arrival at night.
Very handy for the nottingham arena....ten minute walk up the hill. Plenty of car parking available on site at a very reasonable charge. Staff were very polite, friendly and efficient and the beds are really comfy!
The restaurant didn't open until early evening - too late to eat before heading out to a concert and it had closed by the time we returned... and didn't fancy hunting round for somewhere to eat at that time of night so went hungry!!
location was great for us going racing, staff were very friendly and helpful in everything we asked them.Breakfast was good and the missis loved sitting watching the mist rise off the canal, while the swans and ducks went past the window,Will definitely use again if stopping in this area.
Excellent shopping, very historic, plenty to do. A good weekend choice for a family.
Hotel location area a bit soulless, but a five minute level walk to the station, catch one of the frequent trams, and you are whisked into the town centre very quickly. Later found out that taxis are only £4.60. That is the cheapest and most convenient way, especially with a family of four.
