I filled in a form post leaving the hotel however will re-iterate what i wrote. The cleanliness of the room was poor, with mould and damp growin in the room at the window ledge and clearly hadnt been attended to in months. The rooms air conditioning system did not work or was just at a poor standard, and with a room that has no window to open this is a breach of health & safety. I am an Assistant Practitioner in the hospital and any guest you have that suffers with a respiratory problem would have been put at risk within that room. Room service - although the staff member was polite regarding my order and delivery, only once arrived was i informed that to pay by my card was to go with her and visit the restaurant/bar area, purposely defeating the point of room service so that i hadnt to do this. By the time i returned to my room my food was cold and had to be left. The lift, once checking in at the hotel i had to wait over 20 minutes as the lifts were not working and once one had been restored it took a further 10 minutes to arrive at level three due to its unstable motion of going up and down past my level and returning to reception a few times. To get to my room myself an various other guest had to "find" the stairway as when asking staff, they didnt seem to know where we were to go. ( Breach again of health & safety in the event of a fire and staff dont know where to direct you ?) I wished to make a complaint and gain a refund however this didnt seem possible by the staff on the day. Other than these events im sure i would have enjoyed my stay and be happy to visit again however this currently has put a bad light on my opinion of this particular hotel. Many Thanks. Please contact me if required.

1 night stop over for shopping and theatre - location was ideal for both. We asked for a quiet room and this was recognised by reception staff, who were also good at listing the facilities etc of the hotel. Room was large and at the end of a corridor, ie quiet. We had also upgraded and were place on the 8th floor with access to the vip Suite - useful but perhaps not in the essential category. Room was large enough, clean and tidy. Would be happy to stay here again. Nothing particular. The overnight parking is £12 - not unusual for cities and we were aware of the charge ahead of arriving, so, no complaints really. Breakfast was ok, reasonable range and choice.

The spa and location, I didn't eat in the hotel but the staff were friendly and the room was clean, I would stay again Had to pay for parking and there wasn't clear enough signs on entering the hotel for the carpark entrance. The link entrance from carpark to hotel was a bit dark for a lone female traveller.

The staff were amazingly helpful! We had a problem and they went beyond the call of duty to be helpful and supportive. They really put us at ease and I am very grateful for everything they did. Having free internet in the hotel rooms would be nice. I wish they didn't offer x rated movies.

The Crowne Plaza is ideally located in the centre of Nottingham. Shops, restaurants and public transport are all within a very short walk of the hotel. There is a large well serviced lounge / coffee area on the 1st floor that is both spacious and quiet and an ideal location to read or just relax in. The breakfast is excellent, serving both continental and full English breakfast. Overallthe hotel represents very good value for money and an ideal location for anyone travelling to Nottingham on business or pleasure.. The price of drink in the hotel lounge was excessive. It was perhaps the most expensive I have experienced in any uk city location, including London. We decided to investigate local pubs as a result and found prices almost 50% cheeper.

Great location in respect of shopping and convienience. Room was a tad small but well equipped. Very close to a night club which you can hear through the night but it wasn't enough to ruin my sleep.

I booked the hotel for myself and 13 year old daughter so we could enjoy a shopping weekend together. The hotel staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. The facilities were spot on and the location of the hotel was excellent for shopping. All shops really close and there were lots of places we could go to to eat. Pool and spa facilities an added traet!

The location was excellent. We were visiting our daughter who is at Nottingham university and wanted to take her and some friends out for dinner. The room was fantastic - we had the kingsize which was enormous and robes and slippers were provided. We also had access to the club lounge where there were complimentary drinks and you could have breakfast there also. The spa and gym were lovely, I just wish I had had more time to book in a treatment, especially as all massages were half price during January! It was a great hotel and I will use it again.

It was in a great location. Small rooms but comfy and ideal for a one or two night stay. Good deal at check in for two people for breakfast and the breakfast choice and quality was great. We were on the 2nd floor but there was very little external noise. Would have liked to be able to open the window a little as the room felt a bit stuffy. Reception staff were a little curt and not very friendly.
