We used the hotel to stay overnight on a trip to visit universities int he area The hotel represetned poor value for money the room was old, tiny and the bathroom smelt damp and musty. A very poor experieince |

friendly staff and the hotel was clean with comfortable rooms. Staff happy to change room when we requested. On our second visit a staff member opened our room at 4.00am to let someone else in without checking at reception. Not a good experience. |

The reception staff were reasonably nice. The room was tiny,cluttered and had a very uncomfortable double bed,the bathroom small, the airconditioning seemed to be hot even when we turned it down,the restaurant was closed on Sunday evening,no place to eat except the bar and the food was average and the staff very few seemed reluctant to give much service untill prompted.Really about a 2 star experience overall. |

Good location, clean rooms, nice to have the leisure facilities, great in room refreshments Rooms are extremely small! We left a credit card number at the beginning of our stay and were told it was just an imprint and no money would be taken from it. We payed by debit card when we left. However we were shocked to discover that the money had also been taken off our credit card. This was rectified but took several days. |

Modern city centre convenient for shopping and tourist sites. Generally a decent place to stay Food in main restaurant at dinner was only fair. My wife's duck was barely tepid |

staff were excellent. couldn't do enough to help. room was clean and tidy (if a little cramped), breakfast excellent. spa and gym area was an added bonus. 18th birthday party going on the evening with were there. drunken 'kids' wandering around the reception but they weren't too much hassle. hotel had security/bouncers anyway in case anything got out of hand. |

Spa Facilities and the layout and design of the bar/restaurant area. Also, the Sky One channel was available on the TV, which is unusual in hotels, but a great addition. Found it difficult to get through to room service. |

I used this site believing I had booked and paid for the stay. When my daughter arrived at the checking-in desk she was humiliated with a lecture on the card details simply being for the RESERVATION, and that she needed to produce the card (mine) to complete the transaction! |

We asked how loud the rock club was outside our room, the staff were very honest and told us how loud it would be and that we could move to another room if we would prefer. |

This is the only hotel where I have been supplied with a mirror which enables me to put my make up on, the only thing is it needs to be lower as I'm only 5ft 2in. The room and bathroom were spotless well done!! Breakfast was excellent. The view was terrible but we only stayed 1 night so it didn't matter. |

Good location for theatre visit,restaurants and shopping. Spacious modern interior, Good breakfast, pleasant staff. Room was small but nicely appointed. Not a nice outlook. |

Excellent location for city centre. Lovely tree-lined concourse with relaxed bar area. Fantastic choice for breakfast which was available until 10:00am allowing a bit of a lie in! |

Location is good. Close to the theatre which was our objective. The hotel itself is quite nice. parking no problem. Hotel was not full, but we were put into the smallest room imaginable. I did not know rooms that small existed! There was a suitcase rack (folded), but not enough room to put it out. We went shopping, and with 4 carrier bags there was no room to walk around. A dreadful room, for a 4-star hotel. I have had better rooms in a 2-star hotel. The restaurant staff were clearly inexperienced, and 1. |

General friendliness and willingness to deal with queries, clean and generally comfortable. It was diffcicult not being able to open the windows and get some freash air. Also the bathroom design was problematic, specifically the toilet was tucked behind the door and difficult to get to. |
