Crowne Plaza Nottingham  

The location of the hotel was excellent as we were going to the Royal Concert Hall. We had a lovely room on the 8th floor and enjoyed the complimentary club room facilities.

Very close to Royal Centre. Good breakfast. Clean room. Courteous, helpful staff. Car parking handy. 24-hour room service available.

The window in the room is completely and permanently sealed shut, so it's impossible to get any fresh air. The selection of TV channels is poor. The bed is too small, especially for the price.

Excellent Hotel in central location, however even using satnav this hotel is not the easiest to locate. I circumnavigated the Hotel twice before being in the correct lane to arrive at carpark. Car parking spaces are not the best for a large car. The Hotel is very welcoming to guests , the Staff are excellent in all areas.

The only area I found to be less acceptable is the Pillows - these are far too bouncy and so not really compatible for comfortable sleeping. I'm sure that a better style which would be more moldable to the clients head would make a huge difference.

Facilities were top notch, staff polite and friendly. Parking at hotel ideal.

Bed too soft and small. Would have liked a small window for fresh air. Bar pricest too high. £1.35 for a packet of crisps is daylight robbery. Would have had more than one drink in the bar if prices were cheaper. Only £3 discount for hotle guests parking overnight.

The hotel is tired and needs refurbishing My room was very small with very smAll Double bed

Location was great. A shame we didn't bring our swim costumes. Staff were excellent and responded straight away to our change of a double room to a twin and supplying toothbrushes. First time I've ever forgotten mine!

Freeview TV programmes - they kept breaking down on the screen image.

Tiny "double" room. Ignorant bar staff on the evening of my stay which resulted in only getting served after complaining to receptionist. Poor quality food- a Jacket potato with a cardboard skin due being overbaked. It's deifinitely worth paying extra to stay at somewhere like Park Plaza

Difficult to find, sat nav did not recognise postcode and hotel reception said we have two post codes would of been nice to have known that on reminder email so did not spend twnty minutes driving round a one way system in a city that I didn'tknow ! especially as this is clearly a familiar comment !

Location to royal centre was great and also to city centre. Staff were very informative. Rates through booking.com very good

Fast check in and friendly staff. The hotel room was of decent size with a very comfortable bed and powerful shower.

The air conditioning unit in the room was quite loud and interrupted sleep, when turned off the room quickly become uncomfortably warm. Overall Hotel décor looking a little dated and in need of an update. Checking in on 02/03/2012 to see the 'meal of the day' menu for 22/02/2012 didn't help with the aged and tiring look.
