very clean , good food in restaurant , swimming pool and sauna the address of the hotel does not correspond with gps..... there is a barrier blockitto the hotel from the hotel address given. The hotel should change their address |

The location of the hotel. It took us around 1 hour to find a way into the hotel due to the industrial estate. this need to be clearly explained by the hotel at the time of booking. |

Convenience to airport and public transport into the city make the location of the hotel ideal for city break. Price was exellent value for family as children under 16 share free - (we had two children with us)The hotel was clean. Reception staff were efficient and helpful with check in / check out. The rooms arare cramped when the sofa bed is extended. Dining room service was slow. Value for money was only good by virtue of the fact that we had two children with us - over-rated as 4* - would not use hotel for a romantic break. |

The staff was wonderful and always ready to answer questions. The room was clean and comfortable. Good selection of TV channels. Great pool, fitness center, and block area for the children. Within short walking distance to train, bus station, and grocery store. Breakfast was very good! It takes about 20-25 minutes to get to the Royal Mile/Edinbourgh castle via bus. 45 minutes via bus to the port where Brittania is docked. Wonderful hotel as long as you don't mind staying on the outskirts of the city. |

The Novotel Edinburgh Park was a modern and clean hotel with friendly, efficient staff. Overall, we enjoyed our two night stay and would recommend it to friends/ would return. It's location would suit anyone wanting to stay fairly close to the city without staying in the city itself. We stayed with our 2 year old girl, and found the hotel catered well for her needs, providing a high chair and cot. The room service meal was very disapointing, especially considering the price! The air conditioning was too noisey to leave on during the night, and because the room was very warm, it was needed. The 'area dedicated to children' consisted of a table, chairs and a bookshelf. Based on the rest of the hotel, we would have expected something more, e.g softplay or indoor play area. |

very comfortable rooms, extremely clean and staff were very helpful and efficient not hotels fault at all but trains were off the weekend I stayed and it made it difficult/expensive to get back into town. |

The bed was the comfiest bed we'd slept in ... ever!!!! Also our flight was delayed and we didn't arrive until 3am which was not a problem at all- staff were extremely helpful and there was also a cot at no extra charge. |

Excellent helpful staff. Good breakfast. Convenient location once found (getting there using satnav can be problematic as you end up on the nearby business park, tantilisingly close to the Novotel but unable to actually reach the hotel because of bollards blocking the road). Good value for money. The swimming pool and spa were a little cold for relaxing in. |

Was very comfotable snd relaxing. I was really disappointed as I booked this hotel because it had a swimming pool. When we arrived we were told the pool was closed and would be open for use the next morning. We were unable to use the pool either the next morning as they were waiting for an engineer to come and fix the problem. We had to check out by this stage. This did ruin our stay at the Hotel |

Nothing. At least it was near Edinburgh Park Station I bookied this hotel because it had a Steam room and a pool. Both were closed. I believe with the amount of time I booked in advance, I should have been informed of the change in circumstances and been offered a discount. |

I liked there was a pool and sports facilities. I also liked that the shower was big. I ordered a wake-up call that never came! I did not like the location, too difficult to reach by public transport and the fact there was no airport shuttle bus! The fact that one has to add a total of £ 30.-- to get to the hotel from the city and to get to the airport from the hotel, makes your hotel not competitive! |

Very good value for money. Very comfortable room. The previous reviews are very accurate about the hotel. It is worth a stay here for Edinburgh centre provided you don't mind a taxi or the train in. The Tesco/retail park across the road very convenient. The travel to and from Edinburgh was a pain. The taxi fair is about £15.00 one way, which for 5 was ok. The train was not running at the weekend so buses were put on, this was a bit messy. The restaurant staff could do with more experience or training |
