Novotel Edinburgh Park

Přes svoji úspornou velikost byl pokoj velice účelně a prakticky zařízený, moderní koupelna s ovládáním sprchy a teploty vody na displeji, dobrá nabídka zdravých snídaní.

Hotel stojí pár metrů od stavby silniční přípojky, z čehož vyplývá hluk ze stavby. Poslední den jsme odjížděli na letiště o pár minut dříve, než otevírali jídelnu, proto nám byl recepcí slíben tzv. balíček na cestu, který jsme ale nedostali. Připojení na internet na pokoji bylo za poplatek, ale vzhledem k tomu, že je nastaven tak,aby nešly otevírat přílohy, tak je téměř k ničemu.

Loved the design of the rooms

The heating had a maximum of 24C however it felt cold

Helpfulness of staff and rooms were very clean

Access to hotel was difficult due to barriers on roadway had to divert to gain access

The staff was wonderful and always ready to answer questions. The room was clean and comfortable. Good selection of TV channels. Great pool, fitness center, and block area for the children. Within short walking distance to train, bus station, and grocery store. Breakfast was very good!

It takes about 20-25 minutes to get to the Royal Mile/Edinbourgh castle via bus. 45 minutes via bus to the port where Brittania is docked. Wonderful hotel as long as you don't mind staying on the outskirts of the city.

The Novotel Edinburgh Park was a modern and clean hotel with friendly, efficient staff. Overall, we enjoyed our two night stay and would recommend it to friends/ would return. It's location would suit anyone wanting to stay fairly close to the city without staying in the city itself. We stayed with our 2 year old girl, and found the hotel catered well for her needs, providing a high chair and cot.

The room service meal was very disapointing, especially considering the price! The air conditioning was too noisey to leave on during the night, and because the room was very warm, it was needed. The 'area dedicated to children' consisted of a table, chairs and a bookshelf. Based on the rest of the hotel, we would have expected something more, e.g softplay or indoor play area.

not hotels fault at all but trains were off the weekend I stayed and it made it difficult/expensive to get back into town.

Excellent helpful staff. Good breakfast. Convenient location once found (getting there using satnav can be problematic as you end up on the nearby business park, tantilisingly close to the Novotel but unable to actually reach the hotel because of bollards blocking the road). Good value for money.

The swimming pool and spa were a little cold for relaxing in.

I was really disappointed as I booked this hotel because it had a swimming pool. When we arrived we were told the pool was closed and would be open for use the next morning. We were unable to use the pool either the next morning as they were waiting for an engineer to come and fix the problem. We had to check out by this stage. This did ruin our stay at the Hotel

Excellent staff, room was very comfortable and clean. The breakfast was of high quality and good selection of food. Very useful with car since parking is included.
