Close to many key attractions
the rooms were very spacious and new. Large fully tiled bathroom with rain shower. Lots of mod cons and plenty of plugs for charging phones/iPads etc. We were able to store our luggage while we shopped on the day we checked in and the day we checked out.
bed was not as comfortable as a premier inn type bed. A bit too firm.
The maids were lovely and very prompt. The beds were comfortable.
I informed them it was my sister's 21st, not expecting loads, but maybe something complimentary, but all she got was spoken HAPPY BIRTHDAY and nothing else - quite disappointing, not the usual service I would get in ANY other hotel. They couldn't even accommodate a 'nice view' When I booked this they said it was for one person, yet it was a queen and a sofa bed (when I booked through booking.com I made sure I implemented the fact it was for 3 people.) Anyways they said they was charging me extra on top of the room (I had to email them which took AGES) for the other 2 people and it would include breakfast. I would NEVER have booked knowing I had to pay and extra £20 each, which apparently included breakfast, especially as the room was so pricey for one night- but we didn't get any breakfast or a notification we could have breakfast. Checked my bank account after our stay and they had took £40 out without any spoken consent or confirmation. 3 people were in a room, yet only 2 cups and not enough bathroom accessories; towels etc. They charge for room service and then expect some form of gratuity.
Easy to travel to by tube. Ideal distance wise to walk to most london attractions. Good for breakfast to start your day. Warm friendly service nothing is to much trouble by any staff we approached.
The hotel location
Good price Great location
Check out a bit early
Beds were very comfortable and the breakfast was probably the best I have ever had in any hotel.
The room wasn't cleaned very well after our first night. Tea left in the bathroom basin and milk not replenished.
My daughter and I liked the spa but there needs to be a water dispenser. The room was good, loved the quirky bathroom arrangement.
We didn't like the breakfast coffee, this was cold, tasted old and no hot milk. We didn't like the people in front being offered a free upgrade and not us.
Friendliness if staff, modern fresh hotel, excellent breakfast!
Brilliant hotel! Perfect location, wonderful staff and very clean!!
Location is excellent. Close to Waterloo, busy street shops and restaurants. Hygiene Staff non intrusive.

very clean room and hotel nice position (metro and buses) kind staff (unfortunatey I did not try the pool)
breakfast is too much expensive
Location and staff
slightly pricey but probably on par with location and facilities
The reception, The breakfast, The pool
It's pretty centrally located. It's about a 20 min walk to either Big Ben and the tower of London in the opposite direction. Great staff, great room. I'd definitely stay here again
Keep in mind if you're traveling with friends, the shower is just almost see through. You can change the opacity of it to fog it over or have it see through, but even when it's fogged it's a little unsettling.
Location was great, easy to get to from Southward Station. Staff were attentive and polite. We were upgraded to an executive suite which was fab and had great views. Would highly recommend.
The only negative is that we were charged £3.00 for and bucket of ice!! Have never experience that before ... even in London.
Modern comfortable room. Excellent breakfast with plenty of choice. Good location.
Two of three nights I woke up very early due to work outside my room. One night as early as 0515. This was very unonveninent as I had a long days at work, and I could not get enough rest. This is certainly not the hotel's fault, but still a problem for me as a hotel guest.
Close to tube. Walking distance for many attractions. Close to boat. The pool and games consoles were a hit with my son. Buffet style breakfast was very good with plenty of fresh fruit. Spacious room with good facilities. Handy with a roomy fridge to put your own drinks in.
Duster left in room, dirty glasses left and not removed. There were some very good serving staff and others not so good. Stayed for 3 days but had to go and ask for tea. It was never offered.
The staff was extremelly friendly and helpful. The location is great, very close to the Tube station
Very friendly staff. Good location. Nice breakfast.
Bar service needs some improvement.
Everything but especially the fantastic breakfast. Choices choices choices, you could have something different every day for a week
Cleanliness Nice selection for breakfast Close proximity to the tube.
Bed not very comfortable Hot tub not hot. No tub in bathroom
Nice beds. Extended check out time handy.
Hotel was fine, we had a pleasant time there. However, the staff told us prior to the trip that the parking was an easy 3-5 min walk from the hotel. It was actually 20 mins. This significantly affected our stay and the types of activities we did. We could not simply nip to the car. We had to carefully plan things. We became very tired from the unexpected walking with the kids. Ended up carrying them. It may seem petty but spending 40 mins walking just to get to the carpark n back was unacceptable. They should have told us the reality. My husband timed himself running, it's a 10 minute run.
