Novotel Milton Keynes  

Lovely and clean, professional service. Would come again.

Only thing was that the toilet smelt a bit of urine. I think it was because the floor was wooden and therefore probably difficult to clean properly. I think if replaced with tiles, it wouldn't smell.

This was a very friendly and inviting hotel to stay in.It was a bonus being able to use the pool,steam room and sauna. This was very welcomed after shopping in Milton Keynes.The resturant offered a good selection of food but seemed to lack an atmosphere I.e not very well lit perhaps a few candles on the tables and some background music may have helped and also seperate this area from the bar and lounge area.The food was really good as too was the waitress who served us. This is an excellent hotel and I would recommend this to others to try.

The Novotel is perfectly situated for anyone who is interested in visiting the shopping centre. It is literally 5 minutes away by car or taxi. If you do not want to drive to the shopping centre the staff are pleased to call a taxi for you. The rooms are very spacious and clean and in good condition. The staff are friendly and efficient but at the same time descrete. I would reccomend this hotel to anyone who is looking for a budget hotel in and around the shopping centre of Milton keynes. The breakfast I am told is very good.

If I have to make one complain I would say that there are not enough lifts in the hotel. My room was as far as possible away from the lift which menat I always had a long walk with heavy shopping bags. When I booked on line the breakfast was advertised at £15 pounds per person , so I didn't book it. Whereas, it was offered to me for only 3 on my arrival at which time I had made other arrangements. That was a little disappointing, had I known earlier, mu husband and I would have arranged for breakfast too. Oh well another time in the future. I am sure to return again for some more retail therapy.

Whoever organised the breakfast bar must have been psychotic. The bread for the toaster was behind you when facing the toaster and I never found the butter for the toast it was so well hidden. The glasses juice were hidden behind a partion and you couldn't see them from the juice dispenser. And is it really beyond the wit of man to refill food containers before they get empty? Freshly cooked eggs are very nice but having to wait for to arrive while evrything else goes cold is not good. I had to 3 keys to my room door before they found one that would work.

Soundproof rooms and design of the hotel very luxurious and structured in interiors.

Bar meal that came to the table was not as ordered. Bedding had blood on it.
