This was a very friendly and inviting hotel to stay in.It was a bonus being able to use the pool, steam room and sauna. This was very welcomed after shopping in Milton Keynes. The resturant offered a good selection of food but seemed to lack an atmosphere I.e not very well lit perhaps a few candles on the tables and some background music may have helped and also seperate this area from the bar and lounge area. The food was really good as too was the waitress who served us. This is an excellent hotel and I would recommend this to others to try.

I was dealt with effeciently at all times, not bothered with add-on deals, and left to roam the premises unhindered. Spa facilities were a delight, as was the book in and book out time of 12 noon. Meals were good quality, abundant portions, and reasonable prices. Good breakfast deal if booked night before. Corridors were generally quiet at night, as was the external parking area. Very civilised and much appreciated. Use of the word 'key' to describe the card you swipe to open doors. Having to sign in and out for the spa at the reception desk - not much privacy there as on view to all passers by.

The room was on average very clean. Staff at the hotel were helpful. The mattress on the bed was not to my taste also there were stains by the toilet and the prices for food were rather high.

The whole experience of the hotel was surpb. The rooms was clean, the staff was helpfull (except one) the whole complex was amazing and family friendly. The food was very nice and to a very high standard. And the hotel is sited close to all the city hotspots but not to close to be caught up in the hustle and bustle of city life. Would highly recommend this hotel. Will book again.

The friendly staff, ease of parking, facilities - swimming pool, steam room; lovely breakfast with lots of choice and attentive service, comfortable bed, good shower. The swimming pool area/changing rooms were quite mucky. I have a dust mite allergy and found the room very dusty, plus there were two extra single beds made up in our room which we had to put away to use the sofa!

Room was comfortable. Used Gym and pool facilities which was a bonus. Breakfast was very poor. Intended having cooked which at £13.95 was expensive but assumed it would be good quality. But when i saw the what was on offer i chose to have the continental instead. The menu card left in the bedroom for breakfast should be a true picture of what is offered.

I liked the hotel because it was perfect for what we needed it for. The price included use of the swimming pool which I thought was brilliant. Plenty of choice for breakfast the following morning and only a 2 minute drive from the shops. Our bathroom had some used tissue in it which should have been removed but this was the only negative I had.

Upon entrance it was a lovely looking hotel. Free parking, swimming pool. Very close to the Xcape centre and right next to petrol station. Good room size, big windows, nice tv. No fridge in room, guess they want you to pay for the extremely over priced breakfast. Ate out everyday

it was weel laid out, design was good, and especially the bath/show design. At breakfast it was caotic, the food was always short of supplies, the tables were not clean, and were not 're-set' quick enough (it seemed as though there was staff shortages at the busy time of breakfast)

The location of the hotel was convenient and the car parking was sufficient The room had not been cleaned properly, the carpet had nuts scattered about the side of the bed. The corridors were not hoovered either. The main disappointment was the poor service at breakfast. We had to wait for about 10-15 minutes to be seated as the restaurant was very busy. Once we were given a table it was nearly time for the breakfast to close, the table was not set and staff were rushed and appeared harassed. The food was getting cold by this time and the supplies has run out, no boiling water for tea, no croissants and a poor selection of cooked food. The staff seemed more concerned that they had a messy dining room to get cleared for Easter lunches and we were made to feel unwelcome and awkward while eating. At one point when ask to supply is with cups (reasonable request as the table had not been set) I was snort at and the staff member carried on with what he was doing before he attended to my request! The most unfortunate thing is that on checking out, while an apology was made about our wait at breakfast we were not asked if we had enjoyed our stay and given no time or space to make a comment at this stage. We left what should have been a relaxing stay aggrivated and unsatisfied!

We stayed overnight needing to be local for a family event. The staff were exceptionally helpful and we were impressed with the spacious rooms, general decor and standard of decoration. The breakfast was excellent and the late check out gave us time to have a casual morning before departure.

Booked this hotel as not far from escape (indoor snowboarding) wasn't expecting much as only paid £40 per night for a double room. However hotel was lovely, staff were friendly, food was good, bar a little overpriced but so are most!! The hotel room itself was more dated than the lobby etc but was clean, spacious and bathroom was clean and modern ish!! Overall a good hotel, location was about 5 min drive from Escape. Do not go to pub across the road... The outside of the pub with the missing letters from it's name really does sum up the inside :( Expensive breakfast!!!
