The rooms were nicely decorated, the beds were very comfortable and there was ample car parking. While the hotel food and drink was expensive, there's a pub nearby that does serve reasonably priced food and drink. Despite booking months ago and reserving non-smoking rooms, we got smoking rooms that stank to high heaven. The steam room was grubby and the leisure club changing facilities are very poor. |

when we got there we asked for a smoking room but when we got to the room the heating was turned up full when it was really hot outside and it increased the smell of smoke so we went receptiona nd asked for a non smoking room and they were happy to change us. the smoking rooms hold the smell of smoke |

The Spa, large bedrooms The strange and confusing "decoration" - a clash of indeterminate and non-complimentary styles. |

Allocated a noisy room when there were quiet rooms available. Had to move rooms. Newspaper stolen. Extra pillows not delivered to room. |

Everything was as expected - there were no disappointing let-downs ... these aspects are most important The cost of food and general eating was too expensive - preferred to eat elsewhere |

Peaceful, which was important as this was a working stay. Central to city centre. I did feel that the menu was limited for guests with specific dietary requirements. |

the hotel was very accomadating, and made our stay very relaxed and enjoyable. the reception staff were happy to organise taxi's, change the room around and let us in late after the gates had closed. all in all a very good stay! |

I like the fact that there was a gym. It was small but at least there was one. I did not like the separate toilet and bathroom. I also found it difficult to find. Pose code didn't register on Sat Nav and just saying Saxon street was not enough, it's a long street. |

1. The breakfast & room service were very good indeed. 2. The staff was very friendly and efficient. 3. Our room was of a surprisingly ample size. 4. The hotel was conveniently located from Gulliver's which was the key reason for our visit. 1. We couldn't even enjoy the swimming pool as it was very children unfriendly: it had a single depth for the entire pool and the water was way too cold (so much we could only stay a few minutes with the baby as he started to shake like a leaf). 2. There were only 2 highchairs for the entire restaurant which meant our baby didn't get one in any of the 3 breakfasts we had at the hotel. 3. |
