“Staff were pleasant, Hotel room was pleasantly large and well equipped. The choice at breakfast was good and the chef cooking the fresh eggs and hash browns worked ver hard.”

Not a great deal to recommend, given the price - Premier Inn was much better. The size of room, the car parking fee, and the price. Gave up on breakfast because the queue was too long!

The room was great..executive room with good breakfast..bath was in the room really and the bed was very comfortable.Good.xx Good parking but it cost 14 ponds for one night...prob worth it cos the other one across the road was where the noise was coming from,x The noise throughout the night was horrendous ..from revellers outside the room..it cost me 135 inc breakfast hich was good ..but sleeping was a real problem.

good location for our visit to the NIA . We were really pleased with the polite and friendlyness of the staff. Clean room, good selection of food at breakfast . Just one niggle, the bed was a little to hard for our liking.

Very convenient for the icc and nia. Room comfortable and with opening windows so temperature could be controlled to some extent. Breakfast room always fairly quiet so no breakfast "scrum" seen at some other hotels. Reception staff on the whole very helpful. Wake up calls made by a real person at the time requested. Bathroom clean with adequate toiletries. Two members of my group arrived tired after a long train journey at 11.30pm to be told there was no room for them. Another couple had arrived earlier in the evening having made a reservation in January wich the hotel had cancelled in error. They were allocated my staff members room, despite me already confirming a late arrival request earlier that day. My two staff were sent in a taxi to the Novotel Birmingham airport (a 40min journey) and brought back the next morning. The senior reception staff dealt with my complaint well and apologised, refunded the nights accommodation and put wine and a fruit basket in the room. However the situation should never have occurred. I block booked rooms in October 2011, and also took care on my arrival to explain to reception staff who was arriving and when, precisely to avoid room allocation errors. Will I stay here again - not sure - having attended the same conference for 20 years I have never had this happen to me at a hotel.

Comfortable bed but a bit of noise. Managed to sleep very well though. Breakfast was very good and location close to NIA and ICC I do not think that housekeeping was great as a lot of areas missed and did not look clean. Small toilet but bathroom ok.

Good location close to conference facilities. Very good reception staff Good breakfast Well-apportioned rooms Breakfast staff not very friendly. The breakfast meeting taking place alongside the breakfast room was noisy (lots of clapping) and a disruption to what could have been a relaxed breakfast. The bathroom contained several hairs from previous guests.

I have been using your hotel for the last3 years I prefer it to ur neighbouring hotel The Mint ( old city inn) . I find the staff are very discret and do not make U feel uncomfortable , I feel at ease and have Never Had any problems regarding bookings or on My stay. I have always recommended ur establishment To all my friends and family. I would be grateful if u would forward my appreciation For the dedication and hard work ur staff put into A marvellous and comfortable stay. Thank you Everything is perfect just the way it is

Dining room dinner was excellent, service in restaurant and bar very good, well looked after Originally booked into a room with adjoining door. Next to us was a very loud family, 2 small children so we asked to be moved. All handled well except I had specified a quiet room on my request and in my experience rooms with adjoining doors are never quiet!

The room was decent, reasonably large, clean with good quality bed, tv, fittings and fixtures etc. Good breakfast - lots to choose from. The separate toilet was quite pokey and cold. The corridors were drab and the foyer somewhat austere.

Location was where I wanted to be "Gym" only had 5 pieces of equipment, not much use at popular times. Parking is a complete rip-off: £13 per day, but if you want to go out and come back it is £4.50 for 3 hours and £13 for every 6 hours. I was there for 45 hours and racked up £38 of parking charges!!
