The room was clean and there was enough space (just) with both the bed and the bed sesttee in use. The fact that it was within easy walking distance to the NIA was the icing on top of the cake. The breakfast was one of the best we've ever experienced. As the room was booked for 3 people (2 adults and a child) but could take up to 4, there was only 2 mugs available for a hot drink and supplies of tea and coffee were low. |

Breakfast was fantastic. Service was good and the room was lovely. This was the only time I have ever stayed in a hotel where I was charged for parking!! In future I will check to see if the parking is free before I book, and if it isn't I will book at a hotel where the parking is free. I think charging to park in a hotel is like asking a customer to pay for the glass as well as the beer, horriffic!! |

Our stay here was for a little break and to go to a concert at the NIA. We got a great deal online and location was fab. Breakfast was lovely also, hot and a good range to pick from. I we would stay here in again. The only thing we didn't like in our room was the toilet. It was a good idea for this to on it's own but there was no fan or window and the room was small so no vent for air to get in and out. |

Clean, friendly, helpful, good value. Close to nia. I would definately stay again. Pillows on bed were square no rectangular so the 2 provded only covered about 1/2 the width of the bed. There was 1 spare rectangular pillow in cupboard, so I called housekeeping to request more. I requested 3, so that we had 2 rectangular pillows for each side of the bed (the square ones were pretty useless). We were bought another 2! However, they did come within the 15 minutes quoted, and as it was 1a.M. I was quite pleased with that. |

Very smooth and efficient check in and check out, excellent hotel facilites and fabulous location. Housekeeping staff especially friendly and helpful when I bumped into them outside my room, and happy to provide additional coffee, as I have a bit of a caffeine addiction! Excellent choice of breakfast: huge choice of cereals/breads/pastries in addition to superb cooked buffet style breakfast. Free newspapers always a nice touch as well! I did have one minor 'quibble' before my arrival - my friend had checked in two days previously to myself, yet when I phoned the hotel to speak to them,I was told they couldn't find the name, and did I have the right hotel??Given that I knew without question my friend was staying there, as I had made the reservation, and my friend had texted to say they had checked in,I found the lady on reception to be incredibly unhelpful, with a rather unfortunate telephone manner. I then spelt the name, and was still told that my friend was not checked into the hotel, when I knew they were! Minor quibble I know, but didn't give me a great first impression of the hotel reception staff. Also found seperate toilet rather old fashioned and claustrophobic. |

location; quiet outlook; no-smoking floor; big choice for breakfast; friendly & helpful staff; separate loo in room beds were a bit too firm, but that may be a matter of taste; draught from ventilator above en-suite door was a bit cold and we had to partially cover it |

The key element for me was the location on Broad Street, close to New Street station, shopping and night life along with the conference centre I was attending. I suppose the noise from the street was a little loud after 2am but that's an acceptable trade off for being within walking distance of bars and clubs. |
