When I arrived, there had been a slight difference between Expedia information and Novotel's specified book in times, which meant I had arrived two hours early and my room was not ready, however, within 5 minutes of my arrival and mix-up difference, Katarina the lovely receptionist, had resolved the problem admirably and I was able to enter my room, which I think is a very good recommendation. Errors can occur, but the way in which they are managed to satisfaction for the customer is the important factor, which in this case was first class. I have Coeliac disease which I intimated on my internet booking form. Chef had been informed of my arrival and both the Chef and excellent Restaurant/Bar staff excelled in ensuring my Coeliac needs were met. The use of my name when addressing me was exceptional and comforting being a lady of later years alone and with a difficult menu to satisfy. Thank you one and all. I cannot forget the young ladies who had the task of ensuring rooms were clean at all times. Again, first class. Many thanks ladies. Costs of rooms, bar prices and extra foodstuffs I found to be very good value indeed and would recommend this Hotel in Birmingham to anyone. My experience started slightly off course, but ended with positive recommendations. Thank you Novotel Airport Hotel. I will return for next year's h&s expo. The only thing was the tiny toilet. I am of slight build and for me there was no problem, however, had my Mother been with me, she could not have used this facility for two reasons. The lighting in the toilet area was so dull, anyone partially sighted would have had a great deal of difficulty. It would be much too dull for such persons. The second reason would be that even someone not obese, but "moderately overweight" would most certainly not be able to squeeze in when trying to close the door. No modesty for anyone with a 40 inch hip I am sorry to say.

Its location It took over 4 hours to have the sofa bed dismantled & then by someone who did not know how it worked so the sofa was uncomfortable. While the bed was up there was nowhere to sit & the cutains were lodged open. There were only 2 of us- clearly stated on the booking. Though I booked breakfast that was not passed to the staff and I had to sort that out by producing my booking confirmation. This was for £119 for the nights' stay- not a bargain break & certainly not relaxing.

I found the hotel to be a very moden design a lovely looking building, easy to get to by rail, road or air an ideal stop over for the national exabishion center or for a flight and would recommend it to anyone. The facilities in the hotel and the room was well thoughout for every type of person.

Location, location, location...very close to the airport and to the nec. Nice, fluffy towels, windows that actually open for fresh air... The cleaning crew, especially Ivy, were great! Very accommodating and helpful. Hotel is dated and could certainly use an upgrade. Walls are very thin. I could hear bathroom noises easily. Elevators are very, very small for such a big hotel. The hotel's Internet service is complicated and antiquated. One cannot watch in-room movies while using the Internet at the same time. Bed was very uncomfortable. Staff was quick to turn off services despite the fact that I had not checked out yet. No luggage carts at the hotel. Had to retrieve one from the airport, which made departure more complicated than it needed to be.

The location on this hotel to the airport was great. I was flying out the following morning and stayed at the Novetel as a stop off. This hotel would be great for anyone using the airport or heading to the nec. I thought the price for the night was quite expensive.

The location is excellent. We were going to a concert at the nec and it was such an easy journey there. The following day we went into Birmingham for shopping - excellent!! The staff were extremely polite and helpful and the breakfast was very good. Definately stay again! We didn't have enough coffee in the room and there was only 1 Mars bar in the mini bar!!! Just seemed odd when 2 of us were staying (and I don't do sharing!!!)

Very close to the airport. Comfortable, quiet despite planes landing etc. Car parking is expensive and if you dont know where to go can cost more than it needs to. Car park 3 is cheapest as hotel has discount.

Location - this is literally a 1 minute walk from the airport terminal. Great for a brief stop after a long flight. Toilet cubicle small and the most depressing I have ever been in. Decor quite run-down with very stained carpet.

The hotel is perfectly positioned within birmingham airport. We would always recommend this as a perfect way to start the holiday when you have an early morning flight by staying here the night before. Perfect for our family and perfect for the single traveller.

Excellent location, it's right in front of the departures terminal. Internet facility! Upon arrival they immediately tried to 'upgrade' me to a room with free unlimited wifi for £19.50!! Incredible, for a room rate of 99.00 on the continent wifi is totally free...

* The Convenience * The Welcome * The prompt and efficient check-in * The good manners and efficiency of ALL the staff at Novotel * There is absolutely nothing negative I can say about Novotel Birmingham Airport or it's staff. * Each time I stay the standard is 110% * If I could say anything it is the high price of the Breakfast however I have the choice not to have it and get a lower priced one outside.
