Very easy to get to Ricoh. Quiet and comfortable
Paying for hotel carpark as an extra. Dining room lacked character ; unexciting menu.
Everything that you need for a good nights sleep. You would never know you were so close to the motorway
room was a little dark for working as it had no ceiling light only lamps
Good value for money without having to compromise on quality. Comfortable beds, lots of space in the room, can't find fault with anything
Peaceful. They provide xbox for my kids at the lobb.
I having a problem with my kids. They are afraid of dog. Some of customer bring their dog to the hotel. In additio, don't simply confirmed your booking before check a number of bed if you travel with kid. You have to paid for parking with GBP5/night stay.
I liked the bed was comfortable and the bathroom was clean
The receptionist who attended to me was rude and horrible and needs to undergo some people management session. The room was so cold, heating broken the room inter come/telephone does'nt work. It was the worst hotel have been, I would'nt recommend it for anyone.
It was very close to the Ricoh Arena. Breakfast was good. Staff were friendly.
We had a drink at the bar, admittedly it was a very large glass of Merlot and a beer which came to £13! We should have been told the wine would cost £9 - that's way too much. The bedroom was fine but the bed was small and dipped in the middle so was uncomfortable and there were long hairs stuck to the tiles beside the bath - not particularly pleasant to see but at least could be showered off quickly! Only one man on reception who had to deal with several people checking out and several cars leaving the car park all at the same time - there should be at least 2 people on reception.
kids loved the hotel and it was spacious
Bar Man at 11.00pm Saturday night
Maid waking me and all rooms on my corridor at 9.00 am shouting Room service - when my check out was at 12
staff were very friendly & helpful, my husband was very impressed with our room, it had a sofa bed & two chairs to sit in, which we have never had at Holiday inn. we both had a good nights sleep. we didn't use the Wi-Fi, but ate in the bar area, food very nice. we stayed here because of the location to the rugby match, the only down- side is having to pay for car parking, as we were staying the night. which is £ 5.00, but overall, we did get it for a good deal.
Very convenient location for Ricoh Arena. Friendly staff.
Long way from city centre
Good restaurant - not much atmosphere but food excellent and good value. Close proximity to Ricoh Arena.
Rooms need an overhaul. They are very basic with pretty average colour scheme and furnishings. Purely functional which in a Novotel is not the norm.
Reasonably Priced drinks and the room was clean
The Decor is very old fashioned, the rooms are in need of refurbishments. Paying extra for parking is a liberty.
Comfortable and clean. Good customer sevices. Very spacious and excellent value for money as each room sleeps 4 people and for £35 that's not bad at all. Only down side is the parking charge which is £4. I would stay here again as value for money. Thanks :)
Staff where great,as was breakfast
Rooms very dated, sofa bed very uncomfortable, and bed needed replacing, pillows Need better quality.
Ideal location for a trip to the Ricoh arena.
This was the worst cooked breakfast I have had in years! We arrived just after 9 and the eggs were like bullets. maybe if we had been early it would have been OK.
Location Bar Food Price Staff
Its getting a little tired inside some of the rooms.
Comfortable rooms and friendliness of staff
No room service beyond midnight
No wifi connection in room, it wasn't clear there was a £4 parking charge which I think for residents is rediculous and I wasn't charged in December 14 when I last stayed
The bed was comfortable and the bar area is nice enough. The room was large.
The building is like an office block, the corridors smelt musty, the room smelt a bit musty too & didn't feel 100% clean. Not cosy at all, wouldn't go back when there are other hotels for the same price which are much nicer.
Closeness to the Ricoh arena Good facilities
The staff and facilaties were the best.
Having to wait 1.5 hours on arrival for the room to be ready.
Location x convienient to Ricoh for my work
Something was left in the toilet!
