Novotel Coventry  

This hotel proved to be an excellent choice for attending an exhibition at the nec as it was only 20minutes from hotel to being in the car park at the centre, also easy to return at end of day. From arriving, for 6nights,to departure I found all mof the staff to be friendly and helpful. Nothing was any trouble to them and always with a pleasant smile, The hotel was clean,warm and well maintained,would use again if attending the nec.

Location - close to m6 / a444 but quiet!

Novotel Coventry represents good value for money and no unnecessary frills

Access to the hotel from the main road was not signed and, in the dark, it took me three attempts to find the right place.

Nice and stylish Interieur.

I did not like the food in the Hotel Restaurant, too fat and tasteless. The orange wireless did not work properly. Breakfast was expensive.

Very efficeint staff , friendly. Perfect for the ricoh arena. Would use if flying out of birmingham.

My husband and I enjoyed our stay and would like to particularly congratulate you on your staff. The receptionists were friendly, helpful and welcoming. When we returned to the hotel on Saturday night we found the bar, which was packed, was manned by only one member of staff but he did an incredible job serving people with drinks and taking orders for food. We will definitely recommend your hotel and if we are visiting the area in the future, will stay at the Novotel.

The location was convenient for a business dinner I was attending at the Ricoh, it was also very easy to get onto the m6 when leaving the following morning

On arrival it took 10 minutes to actually get into a room, thanks to a faulty key card/lock. I was first told I was using the key card incorrectly and eventually moved to another room where the lock wasn't faulty. I ended up being late for the above mentioned business dinner because of this delay. The hotel lift seems to be on its way out & having used it once I took the stairs for fear of becoming trapped. I did not sleep well - the bed sagged badly in the middle. Instead of two packets of broken biscuits it would be a good idea to supply bottled water. £4 for overnight parking seemed excessive given that I was already paying £69 for a room - without breakfast!

Very handy location - in nice grounds - we were overlooking the gardens to the rear so very pleasant

Price of breakfast was quite high at 13.95 pp - hence we went to mcDonalds!

Near to the Ricoh Arena. Convenient, comfortable and affordable.

I had a nice time during my visit and it was near to office round about 7minutes from the hotel. I was served better in the hotel.

Very good hotel nice and quiet, easy to get to just off the m6. Plenty of parking. Breakfast very good buffet style, eat as much as you want or can!! Staff where very helpful. Clean and airy.

We have to realy search and be very picky to fine fault. Perhaps the decor was dated, too much Artex on nearly every wall and ceiling But we did not eat the walls or sleep on the ceilings. The only real complaint was the extras, some you need others you just do not use. Parking charge of four pounds is like a legalised taxation. They have you if you come by car, I would think that 99% of normal guests have little option to come by car and they feel they have the right to sting you for another four quid on your bill. Also if you want to use it, thirteen pounds fifty for use of internet, rip off big style. We did not use it on principle. Was this a stop over for Dick Turpin?? We did not eat at our evening meal at the hotel, we found a loveley pub called the Greyhound, next to the canal and narrow boats, Nice pub and good food at a reasonable price.
