Novotel Coventry    

Staff are very attentive, the hotel was modern and very clean and the garden area is great. Food was very nice.

Hard to find anything wrong, menu is a little limited and breakfast would be pricey if you don't get it in with the room rate.

Hotel is in the middle of nowhere it's a fair drive into town Can't understand why Accor hotels have to charge extra for Internet and parking, this hotel in particular in the middle of nowhere with a large car park still want more of your money to park your car, how do they think you are going to get there In my opinion that's just greedy

There was no latch at all on the toilet door in the hotel bedroom...just a hole where it should have been. Menu in the restaurant could be a little more adventurous.

The room was far too hot and I didn't like the fact that we couldn't control the temperature.

Staff helpful and very pleasant. Hotel was clean and comfortable. Breakfast was very good, fresh fruit salad, good eggs and lovely tomatoes. In fact delicious.

It is best to arrive using your own transport as the hotel is situate by a motorway in a residential area on the edge of Coventry so there are no shops (except one small grocery shop which does not sellnewspapers) or anything of interest, within reasonable walking distance. Hotel is an approx £15 taxi trip from railway station.

All staff were so friendly and considerate with the gentleman on reception moving all of our rooms together as we were a large group. We've stayed in many hotels as a group and not very often are we put together. The décor downstairs in the public areas was lovely, with a real flair of luxury.

The rooms were very plain and unusual, with the toilet not sharing the same room as the bathroom or its sense of style. My only other slight complaint is that when we arrived back from the casino in the very early hours of the morning we had to wait for a member of staff, I assumed our key cards would have opened the front door for us.

Clean modern room. Good for a nights stopover. Bar (restaurant) staff were very helpful and pleasant.

Some noise at night in corridors. Shutting the inner door helped though. Receptionists could have been more friendly.

The staff were very friendly and helpful. Nothing was too much trouble for them. The room was clean and comfortable, although a little too hot. The food was reasonably priced and tasted good. It was such a lovely experience, that I am thinking of staying again for the Pompey game in November, with my husband.

I have tried hard to find fault, but failed! The only fault I can think of and its only a little one, is that the room was too hot.

The only thing that let the whole stay down was the memory foam on the mattress, although 90% of people would love this I have a bad back and need a firm mattress. The memory foam ontop of the mattress in the hotel gave me a very sore back the next day.
