Very comfortable beds. Room adequate and clean. Food good in the restaurant.Lots of hot water. Very expensive for a budget hotel. Breakfast was a stupid price. I think that putting the prices up just because there was an event at the Ricoh Arena was very unfair and money grabbing. |

The service in the restaurant and bar was outstanding. We ordered food in both (before and after a nearby concert) and it arrived both times extremely quickly. Car parking was excellent (our main reason for choosing this hotel was its location close to the concert event venue we were attending). There was no need to have the sofa bed made up in the room in addition to the king-size bed already in there. There were only myself and my wife staying there and the sofa bed took up just about all the remaining floor space. The safe was locked and thus inaccessible for our use. |

Rooms were very pleasant - the speaker for the TV in the bathroom was a novelty For a Accor Group Flagship, when I have stayed in Novotels on the continent, the restaurant is always the highlight. Such a shame that at this hotel, it is highly overpriced, serving food that is of Little Chef standard... and I don't mean Heston's style! Bar is also very expensive! |

The only issue and not the Hotels fault is that it takes about 20 mins to cover the 500 yards to the M6 |

The reception and bar look like something from the 80's, the rooms are worn out - ceilings collapsing in the bathrooms, beds totally worn out so that they sag into the middle, dirty flooring. Complained after 1st night, moved to a different room, almost as bad. Whole place needs gutting and reequipping, clearly not been touched since it was built. Like a travelodge but with a bar. |

Comfortable and functional with bar and restaurant - fine as a business stop over if you can get a decent rate. Appeared under staffed - sevice was very slow in restaurant - staff were apologetic so this may have been an exceptional case. |

The staff and Ben the manager (?) was particularly kind and considerate . My husband was taken ill and Ben organised a local Dr's appointment for him. A very clean hotel considering the last time it was refurbished (1974 apparently) The cleaning staff were brilliant and obliging at all times for unusual requests. The bar needs to be upgraded with more modern furniture....too many low tables and uncomfortable 60's style setees making eating a bar meal very contorted and uncomfortable. The resturaunt curtains /drapes need replacing. The overal lighting is far too flat and dull. Downlighters or candles on tables would transform the ambience! |

The room was clean and the reception staff friendly Far too expensive, very crowded (people sitting on the floor in the reception area and bar) and no food available either at the bar or as room service at 10.00am. |

Everything was good although the price was a bit high! But this was made up for by the standard of service and you get what you pay for. The bill but it was fair! |
