Warm ,comfortable and a great night sleep after a night out.
No toilet brush
Comfortable bed; well-appointed bathroom; good tv
Having to pay for breakfast and water out of fridge
The open space and retro/modern layout ofthe lounge and bar area. The food was good and very fresh. Waitresses warm and courteous as were the bar staff. Would stay again.
Reception staff just a little too serious! The restuarant was a bit like a canteen.
The staff on our arrival were so helpful and so nice. Very good size bedroom/bathroom
The chimes from the clock every hour through the whole night from the street.
Has adequate parking.Clean and modern.
Breakfast was priced. I
Breakfast & breakfast staff especially the cook who is hard working, mature and very experienced with great customer service skills. He works part time but gives every ounce of enthusiasm and is outstanding, much better than the front of house staff... He made our stay better.!
Noise levels in the room. Heating / lack of. Wi - fi doesn't easily connect. Parking access and egress.
Very close to the station, And to the centre of town. Got there very early but let into our room as soon as we got there. Staff were very good. Well worth the amount we paid. And will use this chain of hotels again.
Only problem was that I was told that you paid when you arrived. But when I went to pay they told me the money had been taken out on the day of the booking. Also mini bar only had water. I.am not a big drinker but a few drinks would have been nice.
Good staff, good breakfast and comfortable, clean, room.
Background music too loud in bar, reception and breakfast.
The breakfast was superb and the staff were all very helpful and friendly.
The location was close to the town centre. Staff were very friendly and allways at hand to help.
Having to pay £7 for parking is over the top for a location like this
Poor quality toilet paper and location of toilet
The hotel charges from a guest more than actualy the room price is, and they tell it is in case I will use a mini bar, which actualy does not exist in the room. Really annoying. Will never return to this hotel. Feels like they treat their customer as potential criminals.
Lack of car parking or overflow provision
Location was good for access to town. Welcome and check in good, speedy and informative. Staff welcoming and efficient.
Bed and sofa bed v. Uncomfortable. Dust in corners of room. Plug couldnt be plugged in so no bath possible.
Helpful and friendly staff at reception. Overall standard of room.
The food in the dining room in the eve was very poor.
Car park charge not fair to charge residents £7
Location is excellent
Heating didn't appear to work so was offered a very small electrical heater that wasn't large enough to heat the room.
Very nice spacious room
Wifi was slow to non existent
The whole look of the hotel was great. The lobby/bar was very nicely lit. The food tasted lovely and was fairly priced. The staff were friendly.
It was a bit noisy as our room was facing the round about. Both shower heads were leaking. I don't understand why the toilet is separate from the bathroom. The doors slammed so loud that they had made us jump a couple of times.
Bathroom and menu
Room was fine
Seemed to be based above a club with a booming bass and awful DJ which I was told would end at midnight, continued through to 1am. When I asked about it, I was told to get up and join them, all I wanted to do was sleep. The car park is relatively expensive for where it is, and the reception staff weren't always the most helpful. (One was fantastic though)
Everything ...except the parking charges
Having to pay £7 for parking as a disabled traveller and needing to be close to the hotel we had no option but to use their car park....they should make it free to disabled people it was free last time we stayed 5 years ago.
