Location is superb right in the town centre. Good quality hotel with great facilities.
Having to pay extra for parking when you're paying to stay at the hotel. Whilst this isn't unheard of, it still leaves a sour taste in ones mouth.
Location Room size Cleanliness
Breakfast was a bit lacklustre
All very good accept hard bed and room too hot
hard bed and room too hot
Room was too near the lift - noisy
big bed, very clean white bathroom, neatly laid out room, love the second skin internal door leads to a quieter night, less corridor noise, big plus for me. Easy check in, good receptionists, spacious in all areas. Requested quiet room and as usual with Novotel they did what I asked without asking again. Good price, central location.
paying for car parking, but not a big negative on roundabout Rather boring menu, same as other Novotels.
Clean room, nice facilities, very short walk to main center streets with shops, caffes and restaurants. close to ipswich town stadium. Nice and inviting stuff.
the toilet was seperate from the bath..
Room size and location
Food was terrible all three dishes. Paying for car park
The bar and the decor retro style and also the funky music
When the other guests arrived back to the hotel durning the early hours I heard a lot of slamming of there doors.
The staff (zsolt especially!!!) was amazing.
The toilet and shower are in separate rooms.
very central hotel modern lovely room would reccomend
Great hotel, very nice lobby with lounge banks and nice bar, clean rooms with good beds. Only a little walk into town and to Ipswich Football Stadium. Nice breakfast and dinner is fine too.
Friendly staff who are helpful. Good rooms that have comfy beds.
Cold tea at breakfast. I ordered two pots and both were tepid-not nice. More tea bags and milk in the room would be great-although they are happy to provide more at reception.
Enjoyed my stay staff very helpfull
Location. Comfortable bed
I was too late to use the gym - my fault not the hotels!
Very complete breakfast buffet. All staff (besides receptionist at arrival) were friendly and helpful. Wifi worked well.
Over-used, foam mattress, very uncomfortable. Room not soundproofed, so difficult to sleep Saturday night. Very small windows and view of parking lot... & the worst: receptionist at arrival who said there's nothing to do or see in Ipswich (I had reserved a weekend just for that!).
Location is very convenient to the centre of town. Many restaurants and pubs within walking distance. Most places quit serving food at 9pm, so if you work late your only option is to drink your dinner.
Couldn't order just one thing at breakfast - it's the expensive buffet breakfast or nothing. Their espresso machine NEVER seemed to work properly. Also ask for a room away from the church and roundabout, it will be much quieter.
Close to stadium, Restaurants nearby, room nice and big, nice shower, comfy bed
Food prices at hotel are quite dear but not a problem as theres a few restaurants across the road so we ate breakfast and dinner there
Modern and central location
only one tea bag in my room
Clean, quiet, good value for money
Location was a short hike from the city centre & awkward to reach from the railway station (as a pedestrian) because of traffic.
Convenient for visiting nearby family at an affordable price. Clean and comfortable
Prices at the bar seemed expensive
I travelled alone, the staff were welcoming and helpful, the foyer was large and light, the room was comfortable as was the bed.
The bedroom carpet was very dull and a bit grubby, no slippers were provided so I had to wear my shoes indoors, not ideal.the toilet was extra large and I did not like it.
Large, modern room. Clean with good facilities and helpful staff. We had a queen size bed that was comfortable and the bathroom had a bath and a separate shower - unusual these days.
Female staff very friendly, male staff slightly awkward and not particularly fluent in English (took me about three minutes to get my room service order across!) Location is excellent, which is a factor if you want to go out on the town.
Room service is £20, extra charges for Wifi and Parking, and already about £10-20 more than the weekday average for comparable facilities.
Friendly staff, excellent room, all the facilities available, hotel location and the cleanliness.
£7 per night parking fee.
