Located alongside the Royal Victoria Dock, 150 metres from the ExCel Centre, this modern hotel is close to London City Airport.

Sharing the same building as the Ibis ExCel, The Novotel London ExCel is within a few minutes by road to newly-opened O2 Arena, with its many concerts and special events. Also close to the docklands and Canary Wharf, this area gives access to East London as well as into the city of London itself via the dual carriageway that runs right through the Docklands, towards Tower Bridge (Aspen Way, A1261).

Built at the end of 2003, this new generation Novotel is ideal for anyone also visiting the ExCel exhibition centre, as the hotel faces the west entrance, just a 100 yard walk across a pedestrian courtyard.

The hotel features a spacious restaurant, a bar overlooking Royal Victoria Dock, 12 meeting rooms with a capacity for up to 70 and on-site parking. Additionally the Novotel hotel offers a fitness room (with sauna and steam room) and facilities for disabled people.

ByRoad:
A new road network links Excel area to the North Circular (A406), the M11 and M25.

By Air:
City Airport is only 4 min from the hotel Stanstead to Liverpool Street is about 30 min and journey to the hotel is about 25 min .

The hotel itself was lovely; clean and modern. Incredibly comfortable too.

The lady on reception was not helpful. I had pre-paid my stay as the room was non-refundable and she could not see this. My name wasn't on the reservation list either. When we asked her to book us a taxi as we were running late, it didn't turn up and we suspect she didn't actually book it so we had to flag one in the rain. Not the end of the world, but a pain to say the least

Close proximity to Motor Show

Very dirty stained carpet in the bedroom and the door entry would not work. In spite of staff assuring me it was sorted out I had a long walk to the room and when I got their the lock wasn't working on several occasions

EVERYTHING..couldn't have been happier. Immaculately clean, modern, bright. Great location for Excel and o2. Staff were very attentive and the breakfast was very good, despite no fried eggs!! Will definitely visit this hotel again. Thanks.

The ambience of the hotel and being able to eat outside

the cleanliness of our hotel room was very poor I could not use the shower because of all the hair on the shower floor and an old cleaning rag left in the shower. Also there was a sticky substance on the bedside cabinet which was never cleaned before or during our 2 night stay. The bed was not even made properly either.

Breakfast wasn't included and at £13.95 per person was over priced.The toilet had no sink!! it was in the bathroom which was round the corner!?
