Novotel London Heathrow Airport  

Cost of shuttle bus is 4.50 Pounds per person each way, but much cheaper than a taxi. Catch it at the curb outside baggage check and runs very frequently. Fifteen to forty-five minute trip depending on traffic. Must pay in English Pounds, no credit cards or Foreign currencies.

The convenience to the airport but I do not think it is fair to charge for the shuttle service.

Good choice if you want to stay close to London Heathrow Airport. The rooms are big enought and we confort. Also a restaurant available. Hotel is in the middle of nowhere, so you have to be driving to get here. Also a Hoppa Bus Available if you need to catch a flight. Lovely swimming pool. Staff could be much nicer. I could recomend much better hotels around Heathrow (Please read my other reviews), but Novotel is also a choice to consider. TV has around 10 channels available unless you want to pay extra. No free internet wireless. Parking is free!

A very good hotel close to Heathrow Airport which was our priority .Enjoyed a great breakfast. Our check in & out was most efficient & the staff friendly & helpful. Would recommend to other travellers and friends.

The design of the hotel is funky and modern. Downstairs has everything that you would want within reach. Pool, Bar, Eatery, Kids Room, Internet, atm, Bus Info

The Food - This is Bland and non inventive and non caring of what is dished out. Room service is not good and horrible food. There is no Chef in this house...only short order cook who slaps the crud together. I am finding that most of these chains have same kind of "chefs" doing the same things all over London. There is a new way of how people are eating these days and they are still stuck in the curry and heavy foods. Sure there is a salad on menu but come on...there are so many cheaper alternatives to light meals with flavour out there with so many cooking shows and cook books out there. Need to put a bomb in kitchen and start again.

Most pleasing stay

A/C was not working, given some excuse about work being completed.

Nothing. The bathroom was dirty. An enormous hair in the bathroom. The car park was a joke - something for YouTube! Can you get out of the car park to the hotel?

On parking in the car park you have to press and hold a gate release button and pull the gate (which is 6 foot away). Solution? A piece of string which is laying on the floor from the last poor soul that couldn't get out of the car park. Not what you need at 11pm at night after a long flight. Then you are told calls are free to landlines in the UK. So you use the phone. On checking out they try to charge 52 pounds for calls! WTF? I will not stay again.

Location to Heathrow airport and having the shuttle bus stop outside the door.

Couldn't get a coffee after 2.00am. Once the breakfast area was opened at 5.00am I still couldn't get an esspresso, the standard coffee tasted like dishwater.

staff were real stars making our stay very comfortable and enjoyable

it ticks the boxes to call itself a four star but ticks the boxes with crayons rather than a mont blanc pen - facilities were pretty poor condition

It's location for an early morning flight from Heathrow.

I booked to stay at the hotel so that I could have a relaxing night prior to an early morning flight from Heathrow, however the hotel made this impossible by allowing another guest to set up an early morning call on my room at 03:15hrs and then actually coming to my room and knocking on my door saying I was going to miss my flight. This ruined the whole point of my stay, andI don't understand how a hotel could allow other guests to arrange things for me without my approval. I've stayed in many hotels before and never seen this happen before. If you stay at the hotel, make sure you tell them not to disturb you if you want a decent nights sleep.

We needed an overnight stay on route from Oslo to Australia. We came late and left early so there wasn't time to check out everything about the hotel but I felt that it was very good value for money. The breakfast was excellent, the staff were very helpful, and the room was clean. Some thought had been put into providing quality shampoo and soap, choice of different teas etc and an eco friendly vibe. I liked that. We were very happy with our stay!
