Nice room and convenient location.
Air conditioner didn't really keep the room cool, but was able to open the window to cool it off to sleep.
Comfort and clenliness, very modern facilities and personal touches by the staff.
Staff was efficient and friendly. Room was spacious as we had the sofa bed. Location suited my purposes for that trip perfectly but would have been inconvenient for those who plan to hang around central areas like Oxford Circus and Piccadilly Circus.
WiFi was slow, even when we got the Premium package, it didn't seem any better.
The location is good, within 8 minutes walk to the tower Bridge. But it was actually not that city centre compared to those near the Westminster or Oxford St. Overall infra and service are good but with £230 per night I think it was a bit over priced.
Passenger lift too small, room size definitely too small. The window we were facing the block with full covered renovation building. Surrounding area wasn't too convenient, difficult to find one convenient store except only a few bars.
- Location was perfect - Staff were attentive and friendly - Rooms were clean and comfortable - Would definitely stay at this hotel again
- Rooms were too hot at night - No designated bar area for drinks (although a bar was being constructed during our stay) - Complimentary wifi was unreliable
Breakfast service helpful staff great location
everthing met my expectation
Staff, Room Location
Breakfast was good. That's probably the only good thing.
- I arrived 15 minutes before the check-in time and they refused to check me in until it is exactly 14:00 so I waited. When it was 14:00 they said it doesn't have to be EXACTLY 14:00 but after that. So my tone of voice changed as I was upset and told them "this is not my problem". - When I entered the room, the room was not as I booked. There was no sofa bed at all. I called them and they asked me to come down to reception. Then they said they'd put an additional bed in the room. So I refused because I wanted a sofa bed. - When they moved me to another room, it smelled strong chemicals as my children and wife couldn't handle it. So I asked to change the room. They put me in another room for the third time after I already waited about 30 minutes since checking in. The water sink in the bathroom did not work well as water didn't go down. I had to wait few minutes until it goes down and there was an obvious plumbing problem. But I didn't tell the hotel about it because I was sick and tired of changing rooms. - There was no complimentary water at all unlike other hotels. - Room cleaning was late when I put the "please clean my room" sign. After about 4 hours of putting it and leaving the hotel, when we came back, it was not cleaned at all. - There was shortage of brown bread in the breakfast. - I put in the comments before I arrived to check in a request for the hotel to make a special surprise for my wife as it was a surprise for her. Nothing happened except for a small plate of fruits after we checked in and were placed in the second room that smelled chemicals. - They said they wanted to upgrade me to a room where there is no sofa (note that I have two young children) but then they returned me to the normal room. This is like someone granting you a gift and after you receive it he/she takes it back from you.
Fantastic breakfast Comfortable rooms Courteous and friendly staff No hesitation in recommending it
The bathroom!!! The room itself was very nice and comfortable, except the hard mattresses. Very quiet and nice area.
Hard mattresses, aircon not working properly. Asked for two duvets for the double bed, which we did not get. Breakfast seemed a bit unorganized, the staff were stressed, were slow when cleaning tables, forgot to serve coffee/tea and the music was way too loud. It´s just not what you would expect when paying 300 pounds a night for a room in a 4 star hotel...
Absolutely loved the location and service was really great. Will definitely recommened, and return to Novotel Tower Bridge
Good breakfast. Clean, modern, comfortable hotel. Great location.
Very helpful and well mannered staff. Close to Tower hill underground. Nespresso coffee inside the room for free.
I found it too expensive considering the size of the room and bed. Poor wifi connection.
The room was comfortable to use, and location is very good, close to subway station.
Staff was very unprofessional, and some staff doesn't know apologizing. I think they have to train staff, because I've never had such a service in a hotel in my life.
The reception service was good
The aircon wasn't working. Construction work in 1st floor was not mentioned to me while giving me room 101.
Great hotel, great location. Great staff, room, breakfast.
Location, cleanliness, next to Underground
Breakfast ran out of fried eggs, bowls & spoons. All were corrected but it should not have happened in the first place. Loud music in dining room at breakfast.
New modern room
Coffee machine didn't work properly And no shamp cond in shower Apart from that nice hotel
Comfortable, quite rooms are wonderful
Wifi didn't work properly and staff in hotel restaurant are slow, was waiting for the bill over 20 min.
Very poor WiFi with hardly any access, noisy room building work close. Room not serviced properly, glasses and cups not cleaned and milk, towels and tissues not replaced. No cable TV for majority of stay.
staff is friendly and helpful
The room was not as shown on the booking.com website and was very disappointing. I would not stay here again as there are plenty of other much more sppealing 4 star hotels in the same price range. I felt cheated by the misrepresentation of the room.
Room was lovely. Cool glass wall between bathroom and bedroom which turned went frosted when a button was pressed. Bose docking station. Good facilities in room. Tasty breakfast - lots of choice. Perfect location right next to the Tower of London. Comfy bed. Very modern. Reasonable price.
Blood mark on duvet and no mattress cover. Maid came in to clean room before we left - changed sheets and towels and it was obvious these weren't going to be changed again after we had gone, even thought we still had a couple of hours left before check out. Maid came in when we were relaxing in room- didn't knock, then quickly left - made us feel like we had to leave so checked out early. Lift was really busy, tried to go down stairs but couldn't get out. Dining room was noisy.
