Novotel London Waterloo

It was very convenient for our needs at the time, but there were no cafes/restaurants etc within easy walking distance, and no convenient tube station - however, the room was very quiet and the area very pleasant, with a lovely walk between Lambeth and Westminster bridge.

Food in restaurant not great and therefore not value for money.

Location was good with easy access to the South Bank and Westminster

The evening meal served in that bar was not great and was not value for money

It was very easy to access fro waterloo station. There was local buses and tube stations near by with local shops for all your needs.

The room was not available for sometime after the advertised availability - this was despite other couples being allocated rooms in front of us, indiciating either a poor operational management system (first come, first served not applicable) or a price preferential system in operation

Helpful and friendly front line staff. Comfortable clean room

Following a 4 hour busy train journey to London we arrived 4 hours early for booking in. The receptionist checked room availability and allowed us to check in early so we could unwind before taking on London! we were so relieved and exceptionally greatful for this!

Breakfast - a little pricey

the hotel stay was very good

The room was not set up for a shower although the facility was there it is quicker than a bath

Its a nice place, everything was clean and neat and and and the staff of the hotel were very polite,and helpfull.
