Brilliant location. Friendly staff.
I was travelling with a colleague so wanted a twin room but was told there weren't any. It was a queen sized bed so they kindly put up a sofa bed for me. It filled the room so it was a bit difficult to move around as a result and it wasn't as comfortable as the bed. I wouldn't have booked to stay here if I had known we wouldn't be able to have a twin room.
Very attractive entrance lobby. Set in a paved area off a very busy road - no problems with noise from traffic. Pillows were heavenly!
The breakfast area felt a bit cramped. There were serviettes under some table legs to stop wobble - not a good look! Toast maker too slow and toast very pale - why can't staff make toast for you?
The quiet room, and breakfast
The Television was not working properly all 3 days of our stay.
It was modern. The staff helpful.
The steam room was smelly so did not use sauna had no barrel. To pour water on stones. This let it down. Felt this should be kept better.
Wifi was rubbish had to use 4G. Could have also been located a bit closer to city centre but obviously this can't be changed!
Firstly, the staff were incredibly friendly; from welcoming us to the hotel, to drinks and food service, we were treated courteously and efficiently. We had had difficulty with tickets for something for my birthday, the whole purpose of the trip, and we were feeling slightly dejected as such. The Hotel gave us two free drinks for the bar and a free upgrade to a Junior suite from our standard double. We had such an amazing room, beautifully decorated and wonderfully lit. All our facilities worked perfectly and we're fantastically clean. The bed was lovely and spacious, I'd a little firm for my taste. Our check out was swift and easy, and we enjoyed the stay thoroughly.
Personally, breakfast wasn't cooked to my tastes. A lot of the food, sausages exempt, was pretty generically tasting and to an average standard. However the variety was wide and it was all plentiful.
The rooms are very stylish and incredibly clean The room facilities are great and the breakfast was wonderful The staff are very friendly and helpful-will definitely be going back!
Clean and modern
Bed a little firm for me.
Television switched it self off, telephone did not work, and being woke up at five past two by singing drunks coming back into the hotel.breakfast poor choice.
Pretty average hotel for business stopovers. Good breakfast. Free Wi-Fi.
The room smelled of something - paint? Reception staff were painfully slow.
Great location! Only stayed for the weekend but nice friendly staff. Very clean room.
Really friendly staff, good features and nice clean room! Posh bath and shower, and nice big room.
Quite out of the way from the city centre, arndale etc, so taxis were needed.
Great location, friendly staff and a lovely modern room would definitely stay there again
Friendly and efficient staff
No parking arrangements for Blue badges,Too much painful.
The sofa beds were made up and a separate towel and toiletries placed on the bed for the kids, made their day! Room was lovely and clean.
Slept on more comfortable beds in other hotels with better pillows but it wasn't too bad..
Location Room was a nice size for one night Room felt recently done
Check out took ages for what should have been a key drop. Cost of breakfast at 14 pounds is expensive when down the road it's £3 for a full English
The only irritant was the toilett that was not flushing everytime. this was frustrated.. Always had to wait for a long period before re-flusing it.
The bed was so comfortable. The gym facilities were amazing and I just wish I could have used them. The breakfast was really good.
Nothing really but porridge for breakfast or museli would have been nice.
Hotel was located close to lots of varied restaraunts & china town. Modern decor in reception & dining area. Staff very welcoming & helpful. Our room was overlooking the back and was very quiet even with the window open. The room had all the facilities we needed & I loved the size of the bed & shower cubicle.
The carpet was noticably stained as we entered our room (one was red & stood out) The price of bottled water in the mini bar @£2.50 is pushing it. Disappointed no earl grey sachets in the room though available on the breakfast menu. The seperate w/c room was very small & in the bathroom no instructions of how to use the double headed power shower, unless one of them wasnt working.
We were offered additional gifts for our stay on Valentines Weekend (Champagne, chocolates and a rose) which as a result made the weekend a bit more special
Lovely room and really helpful friendly professional staff
No little milks with teas and coffees in room and the food was dreadful (sorry)
