One of my co- travellers was disappointed with gym facilities

Breakfast Staff

I liked the location which was pretty central between the city centre and the airport. Approximately 10 - 20 minutes either direction by bus or taxi.

I found the restaurant service very poor. There was not a great menu. We found ourselves using the Toby Carvery next door which was better value for money and a good breakfast too.

The drink prices at hotel bar where very expensive

Wake up call wasnt made to room as requested. Taxi wasn't booked as requested. Result being nearly missing our flight. Dreadfull irresponsible service on these two counts.

Lovely hotel in an easy to find location. Staff were excellent and the hotel was clean with good facilities. We ate dinner and it was very good. great nights sleep. Great for Airport and shopping.

Food was expensive, £13.95 for a continental breakfast. They also wanted me to pay £5 for parking overnight even though I was staying in the hotel. They let that go when they saw the shock on my face.

Shower was great. Rooms large.

This is the first airport hotel that I have ever stayed at that does not provide free transportation to the airport. You can be sure I will never stay with upur chain again in Newcastle or anyway else. It cost me over 20 pounds ($30) to come and go to the airport.

Bed was comfortable young waitress was helpfull in snack area

Being ignored by the person on reception when arriving after nine hours travelling. Badly signposted from the roundabout, went to the grill place twice before someone told us directions

Clean and modern

no wash basin in toilet to wash hands afterwards ... paying for parking when your a guest in the hotel.

Really helpful and friendly receptionist. Room was very comfortable and smartly decorated. Great breakfast.

Would have been good to have free wifi in bedroom.

They got the bill wrong and over charged me.

Controlled car park so you didn't need to worry about your car being damaged. The general facilities were good bar, food communal areas service was good. Bed comfortable

The room was a bit tired in my opinion it might just have been the room we were in however the carpet was very worn and coming away at the threshold and the doors were damaged the walls were rather dirty. Not the usual standard I'd expect from a Novotel.

We enjoyed our stay and would recommend this hotel and will probably return.

We did not find out till 2 days before our visit that we had to pay a bond of £50 per guest per night, there was a queue of other guests who did not find out till they checked in. For people who have booked this hotel for a weekend break and to enjoy Newcastle this takes a big chunk of their spending money. On the other hand the Hotel was quiet with no trouble.

I loved the space of the rooms and the extra touches such as... Plugging your phone or ipod into the tv and it plays music in the room and bathroom! And the bathroom shower was luxury :) and the bed was so comfy! Very pleased :)

Breakfast wasnt included in the price... However there is a caverh next door all you can eat for £4 so I can understand why they dont offer this and that is my only Concern but that wasnt much of a concern anyway :)
