good room size , and a comfortable sofe bed for kids included in the room rate the toilet and the bathroom were seperated which was so annoying. The tap water produced a very bad smell each time it was used which made me think that the clean water pipes were mixed with the wastewater pipes !

The staff were very friendly and extremly efficient from checking in to breakfast and checkout. I think it is wrong to charge guests for car parking.

Excellent Hotel offering superb value for money... Very helpful and polite staff who were more than willing to assist... The young lady by the name of 'Amy' who was working behind the bar is very very good at her job and has superb people skills... The hotel management should treat her as a very highly valued and important member of staff, she is certainly not someone they could afford to lose... Very Expensive bar prices, even by hotel standards....

It was well decorated and the common areas were clean and comfortable. There was a good selection of food from sandwiches to more exotic meals.I Did not have the opportunity on this occassion to try the gym/spa but that would certainly be a bonus. One thing which disappointed me was the bed which was too hard for my liking but I accept that people have different preferences. Staff were not brimming with friendliness.

The location was very good and the room was very comfortable My only concern was that I ordered a meal from the bar after the restaurant had closed and the meal was very slow to arrive. While I might recommend the hotel to friends I would certainly state that they should be prepared for a wait of they want a meal in the evening through the bar.

My Wife and I thoroughly enjoyed our overnight stay and we were extremely pleased with the high standard and quality. The bed linen ,especially the quality of the pillows were excellent, not like other similar hotels we have stayed in recently. All all we were very pleased.

The hotel is well situated off the busy a1 and the staff were helpful, the rooms are spacious and warm and the facilities good. The pool was small but adequate. Worst as always is the 'Ryanair' mentality of add on costs, charging for the car parking always annoys, add it to the price we would still have stayed if £5 dearer but the separate charge is petty.
