We loved using the facilities - the swimming pool, steam room and sauna were the perfect way to relax . The only issue we had was the cost of the car parking - thought it was a bit too expensive .

Within easy walking distance of the station, with efficient Reception and very comfortable bedrooms it was an ideal overnight stop en route home by rail. My bar meal was served with great care and attention as was the wine recommendation which was appropriate.

Helpful, friendly staff. Elegant design and furnishings - it looked as though it had been recently refurbished. We only stopped one night as a convenient break between Heathrow and returning home to Cornwall. Close proximity to Reading station was a big advantage. One minor quibble: only Sky tv available in the room.

The location was excellent, the staff were helpful, The room was comfortable, The breakfast was very good. The window opened and the view was very interesting. It was a little noisy late at night but it did not detract from our enjoyable stay.

Helpful friendly staff. Modern hotel. Good position in the city centre. Booked this hotel for the reading half marathon and it was perfect. Warm at night in the bedroom because I got the wrong end of the stick with the air con. Not sure if the air con dial was misleading or I'm a bit dim. One or the other!

Location is a 2 minute walk from the train station and situated right on the high street, so expect street noise if positioned at the front of the hotel, especially at weekends. Rooms were lovely and modern as was the bar area. All were clean. Staff were friendly.

I was offered late check-out at 5pm the following day. This was really helpful as I was running the Reading half-marathon, and could leave my bags safely in the room until after the race. The breakfast options were very good for my purposes, and the room was nice, very good value for money. Thank you!
