Parking charge of £15
nothing. All good.
Walk in room rate approx £200, I paid £45 - bonkers!
There was a funny smell from the taps, otherwise a very nice hotel
Great location in centre of town, friendly helpful staff
Rooms can differ in size and quality. Sound dock not working
Friendly staff. Breakfast was tasty and fresh. Room very clean and lovely bathroom. Did not have to vacate room till 12.00pm. We could leave our luggage and bags in holding room so we could carry on shopping on our last day. Hotel very close to railway station and shops.
Perfect location for shopping and nipping back with bags. Didn't have time to use swimming pool but an added bonus it has one
Not happy gone very down hill poor breakfast lifts didnt work. lots of faults in arrival.. will not be returning.
Excellent location for shopping and eating out. Staff very helpful especially the hotel bar staff. Room facilities excellent
Restaurant struggled to cope with busy Sunday service but Saturday service acceptable.
The room was clean, the gym was smallish but nice, the pool is clean and pleasant, and the sauna was beautifully hot all through the opening hours.
The showerhead and shower screen in my room were leaking a bit (which wasn't a big problem though, as the bathroom was really clean); and the car park was tiny, expensive, and a bit hard to find because of all the one way streets and dead-end streets.
Ideally situated to enjoy Reading's excellent shopping. Always spotlessly clean with charming staff. Have stayed in the reading Novotel a few times bu t don't remember the bed being so hard.
The bed was uncomfortable, very hard. Did not sleep well on this occasion Friar Streeet is also home to numerous popular bars, if you want a quiet night ask for a high floor side room
Very central for railway station, taxi rank and city centre.
Quite noisy outside until early hours of morning (Friday night) as close to night clubs. Not too bad with window closed.
Location is great for all shops and resteraunts. Staff are all very polite and helpful. Good leasuire facilities. Very clean all over the hotel.
Be wise on booking executive rooms as some are good and some not so good. Middle corridor executive rooms are great but the end rooms are more like standard size rooms with and bigger hallway. Would not stay in the end rooms again.
Fantastic all round. Cannot recommend enough!
Use this hotel all the time. It has excellent location, parking and is immaculately clean. Nothing is to much trouble. The food is fantastic and the staff are so helpful. I would defiantly recommend this hotel.
I think £15 per night per dog is excessive.
Room was excellent and so were the staff
Location was great Good size room Discounted parking
£16.95 for breakfast is too much (we didn't go for it) Its good but I think you pay for the location. We had friends stay in the Ibis and that was comparable for a lot less money.
Room to hot, can't control heat even when thermostat on lowest setting
Comfort of beds Location
Location was key but the hotel was just brilliant. Executive room was lovley. Cannot fault
Good location Good breakfast
A bit old
The location works so well for shopping and the train station. The staff are extremely helpful and friendly.
Our room had a smell of cigarette smoke
£2.50 for a small bottle of water.
