there was no gym the swimming pool had far to much chlorine in it and made my eyes and my daughters eyes very sore, the chaning rooms were awful, and to have to pay to park in the ccar park was a totall joke, the room wasnt very clean and i thought the general hotel was very very poor |

The staff were very friendly and helpful. Restaurant was clean and food very nice. The bathroom facilities were very poor as stated in my previous survey, with a separate toilet which was not particularly practical. The whole bathroom 'thing' could really do with an overhaul as the decoration in it's self was poor and unclean. The adjoining room occupants were quite noisy and we didn't ask for an adjoining room. |

Room was well prepared, clean and tidy. Facillities in the room were above standard, reception area was quite informal and spacious. Serving staff in both the bar and resturant areas were poor and service was very slow. Also the fact that the fire alarm was set off at 4.00am didnt add to the experiance, of a comfortable stay. |

(1) The bed and sheets were really comfy. Slept really well! (2) Reception in the morning on departure day compensated the mistake (made by colleagues?) to not set the wake up call, by paying for taxi to meeting I was late for! (£5? not much, but still felt right for the problem caused and I really needed to get quickly to the meeting) (1) Receptionist in the evening missed to set up the wake up call asked for, and this despite me confirming again before I left the reception at the time of check in that the wake up was set. (2) Chips in the minibar empty, and lid put back on the top - perhaps visible if someone had really looked (previous guest taken and hidden?) |

Excellent customer service made an ordinary hotel environment into a memorable one. The food was of a high standard. The gym facilities were closed for a refurb at the time of our visit, but we were told in advance of our stay and alternative arrangements were made for us. |

Good standard of room & the location meant we didn't need the car I thought it was outrageous that we had to pay to park our car. Disgusting way to try & make some more money. Very disappointed |

Friendly and courteous staff, excellent buffet breakfast, location to point of departure for our cruise holiday. Hotel was undergoing refurbishment, so was a bit of a mess around reception area, and elevators were out of action, which proved to be a problem when a large number of people wish to check out at the same time. |
