In a quiet part of Glasgow, this hotel has a view of Overtoun Park. There is free Wi-Fi, free parking, en suite rooms and full Scottish breakfasts. The bar shows Sky Sports.

Score from 875 reviews Superb
A nice hotel close to a station and a pleasant location. Spacious room.
Would have been nice to have had a wider range of drinks in the room and some shampoo
The location - right on the park - is great and it was a short walk to shops, pubs and railway station.
No lifts for heavy bags (although staff are more than willing to carry them), and hotel was overheated.
Big comfortable room
A little noisy from traffic
Location was good, staff were friendly and helpful
Pricey for our stay without breakfast
good value but it was on offer would not want to pay the full price as its not really a boutique hotel.
breakfast very poor and lunch service was slow and meals were bought a seperate times ,so one of us finished beore the other was served! our room was very very noisy ,it was above a party
Could not find any faults
Very helpful staff , especially Nicky! Lovely little bar and nice food .
No toilet brush in toilet and the room was freezing when we arrived, but heated up quickly .
Staff were first rate. Felt at ease and made to feel welcome. Fantastic cocktails were the cherry on top!
Location excellent for the purpose of visiting family but also close to train station for easy access to city centre. Reception staff are always very welcoming.
Wi-Fi can sometimes be slow and patchy
Great staff Nice bar Warm and powerful shower Spacious room Large bed
Room smelt of smoke Dirty carpet Fixings and fixtures were rough No room service Tiny television
We had a fantastic stay at the hotel. It is in a wonderfully discreet, quiet part of Glasgow but just ten minutes from the City Centre. It is also very near a train station (walking distance) and a great, regular bus service. The room was very nice, the bed was sumptuous, the champagne bar and public areas are stunning.
The heating was too high. The pillows weren't as comfy as the bed - I do have really good pillows at home though!
The club rooms have Victorian grandeur and ambience that we wanted. Staff were very helpful and made us welcome.
Any negatives have been covered by other reviews.
the staff were very accommodating and very friendly. the room was very clean and the range of toiletries available were a lovely touch. the asthetics of the outside of the hotel were beautiful.
room was a bit on the small side- you could hear guests outside chatting and shouting. there was a lack of privacy in that sense.
The staff in this hotel were excellent and could not do enough to help and make us feel welcome.
My friend and I were having a girly weekend of shopping for Xmas! Hotel was lovely and staff were exceptional, nothing was a bother! The waiter in the restraunt was a credit to the hotel, pity we were unable to try his cocktails! Lad on reception was helpful courteous and also a credit to the hotel! Whoever chose/trained their staff did very well.... Treat them well they are the essence of a great hotel!!!!
Was a bit of a nightmare climbing the stairs to room...and just wish the dining room was more modern...potential to be stunning!!!
I liked the location, the atmosphere, the room was sensational, the décor was pleasant and up to date. The staff were only too happy to help. I have stayed at this hotel 5 times this year and I will stay again and again. A real must for the business traveller. The bathrooms have under floor heating and their is on site secure parking. I cannot recommend this hotel enough. SUPERB
TV could be a little bigger
Staff very good. Room large with good view. Nice fluffy towels.
The hotel bar has undergone a refurbishment and is a nice area for drinks, serving a good selection.
The breakfast was a huge disappointment, with the quality of the cooked items extremely poor. It was obvious that the cheapest ingredients were used. The reception staff also seem to be running around doing too many jobs. It's not exactly a relaxing start to a trip away to be greeted by a flustered receptionist!
Room had view over Queen's Park - spacious. Bit of a maze of corridors to get there and motion detector light didn't work the first time I exited. Reception warned us of function but the noise wasn't obtrusive and it ended at midnight, as promised. Restaurant and bar very good.
Carpark at rear was hard to access
The bed was terrible...that infuriating thing of 2 single mattresses together with the growing gap in between that gets larger as the night goes on! Poor bed linen as well..come into the 21st Century and try some fitted sheets!!!
Huge room with a lovely view of park. Nice big bathroom.
Carpet a bit grubby.
Food, facilities and staff all excellent.
magnificent room great breakfast
