The apartment is very comfortable and clean. The furniture very good quality. Large room, we had a conservatory at the side of our room, lovely to sit in the evening. The welcome was very good, we were told of all the attractions and how to get to the center of town, only a few minutes walk. Would recommend this apartment.
Nothing to say really, would have liked a bigger bathroom but when you look at the plan of the room you can see how it had been fitted into the space available.
Freedom to come and go and relax between doing stuff. Nicely furnished. Freindly welcome.
Nowhere to hang clothes which is ok for short stay but would be a pain if longer stay or dressing up posh
Everything! Started with a warm welcome, lovely comfortable room and a location close enough to the centre but far enough out to also be away from it all
The location and the size of the apartment.Pillows were so soft!would stay again and recommend.
lack of glasses and crockery, light bulbs out.just a little bit more attention to detail needed ,but good on the whole.
Location Furnishings Facilities
Probably wouldn't recommend for children - it's too nice and difficult to fit a cot
The owner is a very accessible and accommodating person. Very welcoming and positive. The location is fine but a fair walk to the downtown area, so it is perfect if the weather is good!
The cleanliness of the place certainly needs attention. I found bugs in the carpet, toiletries of previous guests under the bed. The cutlery and crockery had stains. The mattresses were sunken in from use. The towels were not white, dry and crisp but rather grey and damp.
- room - bed - location - welcome - free parking - facilities for cooking/fridge if needed
- bathroom a wee bit small but perfectly functional
Spacious self catering two bedroom apartment with access to its own garden. Facilities were brilliant and I highly recommend it.
Nice chilled welcome
Everything was great - beautiful room, lovely view, very clean and comfortable. Just around the corner from the main street. Very accommodating manager and staff. Yes, the bathroom is small, but not that small, and not out of the ordinary for a mid-range European hotel/holiday apartments. It's a beautiful old house. Excellent value for money, would stay there again in a heartbeat!
A convenient location for easy access to Bath; good parking. Very comfortable bed. A clean, well proportioned room.
We were on the second floor of the front of the house and it was quite noisy from the road traffic. It would also be useful to have a little more kicthen equipment as there were 2 of everything and when doign basic cooking an extra fork and spoon would help.
We were arriving late after attending a family reunion in Brighton. The proprietor called us a few days earlier to make sure that we would be able to find our way late at night. We greatly appreciated his solicitousness. The room itself was spacious and lovely.
V comfortable bed, lovely garden to sit in when sunny, and friendly welcome + handover of keys. Overall - very good service and quality - would definitely recommend it. Superb location and having a room at the back of the house meant a great open view towards the abbey. Front of house gets you a view of the car park and main road.
Tiny bathroom - shower ok but toilet way too close to washbasin - and I'm a petite build 5" 1- manageable but a bigger person would have found it really uncomfortable! Parking was also tricky at times; I suggest if you get a space - and you probably will - stick to it as I left mine for a few minutes and when I returned it was taken; it took a while to get a proper space again.
We had a wonderful stay. The accommodation was more than we expected - very comfortable, plenty of space, a gorgeous view of the Abbey and Bath. Staff were pleasant and helpful. It's a little further away from the centre of town, but that's only an 8 minute walk! We enjoyed the peaceful and relaxed walk in the morning and eve.
Bed and comfy sofa. Great location short walk to centre. Good intro from host and main room facilities excellent
minimal close parking. Bathroom had little room to swing a cat!
Arthur was excellent, his recommendation on a place for a special breakfast was a great one.
Privacy, architecture, charm, facilities, location, size, quiet surroundings.
Very helpful owner. Incredible location. Garden extremely attractive. Plenty of room. High speed wi-fi. We loved the place.
Good location to visit the city centre, THAT'S THE ONLY POSITIVE THING...
THE BATHROOM IS 100 X 100 CM. Inside the very very very very very SMALL toilet you have a shower, WC and sink. Also, it is VERY VERY VERY DIRTY! So you cannot do anything inside the bathroom, because you don't have enough stape. Moreover, there is not a place where you can put your towel and your beautycase. It is IMPOSSIBLE TO LIVE without a proper bathroom! Such a bathroom is USELESS. it is incredible that the owner thinks that someone can live in an apartment with such a tiny and DIRTY toilet!!!!!
The room was clean & comfortable. It was in a good location & had parking
Shower was small. Type in number 17 in to sat nav or otherwise hard to find
Overall a lovely bright and airy apartment witb great views over the rugby ground. Well equipped and very clean & comfortable. Allowed us to have the apartment early. Parking an added bonus in Bath.
WiFi very hit and miss. Bathroom very small with microscopic shower curtain. A pint of milk in the fridge or some milk pots to gowith the tea and coffee would've been a nice touch.
very comfortable bed. Kitchen useful.
Considering it was a superior room, it was rather cramped. Room well equiped but not really big enough to take it all. Had to be careful not to walk into mantelpiece, which was at shoulder height, as so little room on one side of bed. For £140 a night I would expect to have the bed made. Heavy floor to ceiling curtains but couldnt pull them without standing on a chair and even then it was difficult.. We had some appalling weather but there was nowhere to hang wet coats.
closeness to city centre big, nicely decorated room with: clean kitchenette, fridge, cooker, sink, cupboards...coffee, tea very comfortable bed, pleasant scented bedlinen nice vieuw
bathroom a little bit small
