Jane, the owner kindly upgraded us to a bigger room with a sitting area at no extra cost. She was also very helpful on pointing out places to eat and tourist spots.
Excellent hosts, very friendly and helpful, comfortable room and bed and breakfast was superb.
Not staying longer than one night
Room was colorful and very clean Bed was comfortable Own large bathroom along corridor, but within room space Owners were friendly Breakfast was freshly cooked and plentiful Newbiggin is a little gem of a village to visit, b&b 2 minutes from the sea
position of shower head over corner bath I would have preferred more light in bedroom, working in dim light is not good.
Comfy bed, spacious room, lovely decor, B&B totally separate to main house with own door, can come and go as you please, really friendly hosts who can't do enough for you and engage in conversation
Very friendly and welcoming. Lovely spacious room and a good breakfast.
Nicely greeted with a explanation of the facilities plus useful information about the town. Comfy bed with tasteful decor. Plus 'real' coffee served at breakfast, always a plus for me.
The smell of cigarette smoke from their private living space below the bathroom I used. Not very pleasant at 7am
welcoming staff, quiet location, comfortable superking bed, lovely linen and large bath towels, excellent cooked breakfast,
Unfortunately did n't have much look with the wifi (but i didn't tell them at the time to see if they could rectify it)signal not consistent.
Our hosts were very welcoming and personable. The en suite room was very clean, spacious, and comfortable. The breakfast was excellent, the conversation entertaining, and the location quite desirable in a quiet neighborhood with a view of the sea. We felt it was an exceptional value.
On-site parking would have been nice but there was adequate parking nearby. We found everything else very much to our liking and were quite happy with the level of service that we received.
The hosts made us feel welcome the Room had all that we needed and the bathroom was spotless. Breakfast was very good.
Being over looked by neighbours
The rooms were beautifully decorated, spacious and comfortable. The breakfast was delicious and the shower soothing. Very clean and comfortable. If I ever make it back to England I will try to fit this place into my schedule.
The only downside to our experience was through our own fault. We were only passing through and so we only had one night here. We were also very tired and didn't venture out once we arrived so didn't get to see much of Newbeggin-by-the-Sea until the morning.
Lovely breakfast, friendly hosts
Parking was across the street although there was space outside
My son and I were traveling around Northumberland and stayed one night at No. 21. Jane and Malcolm, the owners, were absolutely lovely. We stayed in a huge room which was very well decorated, homely and had everything you needed. It was exceptionally clean. With their background, owning hotels for most of their life in Cumbria, they really know how to exceed expectations. This was definitely the best B&B we stayed at during our week long trip. I would highly recommend staying here as its such value for money, Jane really knows the local area and she does a fabulous Northumberland breakfast!
Friendly always helpfully
When the water is run by anyone in the house you can here it in all the rooms
The room was spacious with a very comfy bed.
Top quality mattress on Superking bed. Friendly proprietors
Everything about the accommodation was excellent what is advertised is what you get
Number 21 offers accommodation that simply feels like home... or at least what we would all love our home to be. Our room was very spacious, stylish and incredibly comfortable. Even though we were meant to leave early the next morning, we just couldn't help but stay for the best poached eggs and a chat with the friendliest hosts in the world. I would definitely recommend a stay in Number 21. Five star quality and a great value for money!
Great hosts, very friendly and knowledgeable - both about their business and about the area. The room was very nicely decorated and had everything we could need, loved the fact it was big as we stayed for four nights so we could 'settle in' properly! Fab breakfast, Jane and Malc are lovely people and know how to make you feel welcome in their home.
Beautiful clean room, comfortable six foot bed with feather pillows. Everything you would expect in an expensive hotel plus a sewing kit.
Marine size toilet and wash basin.
Nice quiet room, excellent breakfast, friednly staff.
