With a peaceful location, in the picturesque Rossendale Valley, within easy reach of the Yorkshire Dales, this attractive guest house offers free Wi-Fi, free parking and stylish, contemporary rooms. In the fashionable Rossendale area, just 3 miles (5 km) from Rawtenstall, the Number 678 Guest House offers attractive, modern bed and breakfast accommodation. The good location offers easy access to the M60, M61, M65 and M66 motorways, as well as Manchester, Bury, Bolton, Burnley and Rochdale. The brand new building houses stylish, individually decorated en suite rooms, all with LCD flat-screen TVs with DVD players, alarm clocks and tea/coffee. Every room has a comfortable and luxurious Sealy Posturepedic bed with duck-feather and down pillows and quilts and Egyptian cotton bed linen. The quiet and pretty rear garden borders Whitewell Brook. A full English breakfast is available every day and includes locally sourced organic produce wherever possible. The hotel does not operate a 24-hour reception. Everything you could possibly require whilst on holiday had been thought of the breakfast was superb and everything spotlessly clean. Couldn't fault it, the host was very friendly and helpful will stay again next time we visit family. The only little point was that we had to rush like mad to get to the accommodation during the check in time could be a little bit later.

The service was friendly but not overpowering. We felt he owners would do what they could to give us satisfaction. It was easy to get straight onto the road to wherever The location on a main road is not ideal but it does make it budget friendly

Friendly staff - clean. Breakfast was nice But wanted more money off us because we booked through booking.com we had a confirmation letter stating £140 but they wanted £10 more Mattress too soft needed to be firmer

The owners wre very friendly and wekcoming. They were also very helpful and went above what I would expect, especially for such a short stay. I would certainly recommend the Guesthouse as somewhere to stay.

Breakfast! Trusted to post cheque in payment after our return home, since credit / debit cards were not accepted, and we did not have cheque-books or sufficient cash with us. Duvet too warm (as in most hotels & guest houses)

This is a very comfortable, friendly guest house. I particularly appreciated the wi-fi facility and the range of breakfast food was a real treat.
