The location, the peace and the concierge!
location good Very Quirky Hotel. Staff friendly
stayed in a suite full of poorly painted old furniture, had to boil the kettle on the floor as the lead was too short to reach a table top, not what i expected for a suite. The wonders of good photography.
Most of the staffs are friendly and well acknowledged of local information. One good thing is just 3 minutes walk from hotel to Salone Square tube station, it is convenient when you can't get good traffic condition by taxi sometime. The concierge is helpful most of the time.
The wifi signal is bad. All facilities are poor in comparisons of other five stars hotel. There are no spa and fitness center. Only one restaurant in hotel, lack of room service choices, the quality of food is just average level. Although the vitorian's decorations in hotel are amazing, the lift is still dispointing. The landry service is efficient. Bed is not so comfortable, as the large bed is combined by two small beds, there is a gap between the beds, liner is also poor, when you sleep, the duvet and bed sheet are easily separated. Room size is acceptable, but the table area is too small to give you comfort stay experience. For example, you can't have your computer and food at the same time on one table. I have been stayed in this hotel for one month, but they give me the room with broken heater, even the council house isn't without heater in winter. When I told the concierge, one nice young and make staff gave me a temporary heater instantly, and showed his deep apologies. The maintenance fixed it next day. But I still felt they provided a non well prepared room for a guest at the begining.
As the Cadogan hotel is an old building,it's a bit noisy: Other customer's alarm clock Staff cleaning.. But it goes with old structures
awful view of building works and a crane at window in room…..not made aware of this before. Asked for tea facilities in room beforehand…..wasn't there. Asked for milk……didn't bring it. Wasn't a room I would expect in a 5* accommodation
The location is fantastic.
The room was a real disaster. View on the AC and support systems. Very untidy. Room ready for reburbishment.
5 minute walk to Underground station. 2 minute walk to bus stop. Quiet Location Staff were very friendly and helpful Clean and tidy
Very dark in the communal areas The bathroom was tiny and difficult to move around in. Very disjointed bedroom and décor
Very nice friendly service. Beautiful library. Lovey gift left as part of the turn down service.
My room was a little disappointing. Also the gym facilities were a little disappointing and a bit of a treck to get to. A little cramped on the stairs.
the location ( 95% ) friendliness and help of the staff ( 80% ) the room ( 75% )
no assistance at breakfast ( had to go elsewhere ) the room was a tad too small considering it was a superior double
Staff got drinks & food order wrong & took a long time
Loved the fact that we could walk and hop on the tube all very easy. Room was amazing and extremely comfortable. A great experience would come back and recommend
On arriving at reception it took us a while to adjust our eyes as felt very dark.
The staff and service is second to none. The location is excellent but the hotel is on a quite street conducive to sleep
The dark colours are over the top. The first suite I was assigned was too dark to enjoy. I was moved to a suit on the first floor and the daylight in the suit was superb. Lighting st night was inadequate
Staff were super freindly, helpful, polite and couldn't do enough for you. Location was fantastic, easily accessible and absolutely beautiful! Worth every penny!
This hotel is by far the best hotel I've stayed in for a very long time. I travel often and have stayed in many exclusive boutique hotels around the world but this hotel surpassed all of them with the friendly staff, attention to detail throughout, the service and the decor. Full marks and congrats.
There is nothing negative I can say.
There is no elevator to the left wing of the third floor. You have to go up to the 4th and climb down. The rooms are dark , the halls narrow.
Old building Weak WiFi Very very Poor room service Bad signal Expensive rate I had jounior suite but is terabble The bed not comfortable Broken elavator
Staff is always there for whatever you need. Comfortable beds, great location. Will definitely return.
Restaurant quality, while goodn not outstanding, is way overpriced
Staff and character
Like home from home
Small bath towels
Friendly reception staff
Room very small & claustrophobic. Hotel dark & gloomy.
Nice neigborhood, quiet place.
The hotel is like a bed and breakfast. Old house with old lift and few service people at night when I arrived. I was given a small room. Too expensive for the type of room I was given and the price did not include breakfast.
The room The bed Nice place Fine people
The noise from the AHU. The poor shower funktion.
