We were in London for the Chelsea Flower Show. The hotel location was perfect. Very friendly staff. Will certainly stay there again

No free water in your room

Just about everything.

It was fairly noisy in the morning, I think it was the reception staff talking loudly and laughing.

Bags of character and style a change from the usual sterile hotels

Some tatty decor no tea and coffee facilities

Overall a poor stay resulting in a complaint at reception on check out owing to noisy ventalation,a small dark room and worst of all a shower head that projected water upwards to the celing at the overhead ceiling spot lights ... shocking .. .. or it could of been!! Also some problems with corked wine which was not handled very well. However to be fair to the Receptionist she did knock off 20% from the room rate on my complaint but at £350.00 including Breakfast it does not offer value for money and I could have been electrocuted!!! We wont be rushing back ... David

I liked nothing. It is a miserable, old fashioned relic of a time when buggy whips were a useful implement, I has the charm of a coal mine. One bulb in the bathroom for lighting. Two faucets instead of a mixing faucet. Primitive conditions and highly overpriced for a one star hotel.

See above.We cold bear to stay more than one night

Frankly nothing,it is ridiculously dark and gloomy,the whole place looks like it is unsuccessful,threadbare carpets ,indifferent staff.We were kept awake half the night with staff talking and smoking outisde the window which only ceased after two calls from us.Compared to other hotels we have stayed in the same area it's a horror story

La gentillesse et seviabilite du personnel,le luxe,le calme,la proximite de la station de metro Sloane Square et l ambiance du quartier environnant,tres chic..

La decoration des chambres un peu vieillot..

Nostalgi, äldre stil, varmt och ombonat. Vi trivdes utmärkt och kände direkt den trivsamma atmosfär som skapades med en fantastiskt trevlig personal. Hotellet ligger också bra till i en mycket vacker omgivning och nära till tunnelbana och andra kommunikationer.Vi är mycket nöjda.

Excellent location. The staff were helpful and pleasant.

Facilities were poor. Over priced mini bar (£40 for half a bottle of wine) and no tea/coffee facilities. The room was dated and tired. The 'king sized bed' turned out to be two single beds pushed together. The fresh fruit on the room itinerary was never provided. The tv was missing most terrestrial channels. As an adult of an average hight (6ft) I was unable to fit under the shower.

The privacy

Price - value is too high. However I would recommend the hotel, if you can get a bargain price via booking.com

Der Fruehstuecksraum war sehr angenehm, sozusagen vom Ambiente her sehr einladend. Der tv Raum war auch aeusserst angenehm zum relaxen!

Die Zimmer generell muessten renoviert werden. Die Toiletten funktinierten nicht richtig, es gab auch keinen tv Anschluss. Alles etwas zu schaebig und alt in den Zimmern! Das Personal an der Rezeption ist etwas caotisch von daher fehlt es an organisation und professionalitaet!
