Brilliant location Superior room with lounge and outside area Fantastic large shower L'occitane toiletries Very quiet Good breakfast
No tea/coffee making facilities
very nice hotel x
Very modern stylish hotel with lovely staff and excellent breakfast. Would definitely stay there again and recommend it to others.
No tea/coffee making facilities in room
Handy for the France ferry Excellent staff High standards: decor/condition/clean Good breakfast Personal attention Comfortable room and bed
Had to park 100m away. Prefer own tea/coffee facilities, offering to bring some up in the morning not acceptable to us. WiFi wouldn't connect in the evg but ok next morning. Idiot outside blowing car horn repeatedly at 1.30am.
Had to congratulate myself on finding a hotel that everyone thought was fabulous, even my mother who is very very fussy! Loved the way that, instead of making coffee in our rooms (no kettle) we could have it delivered to the lounge and take it all together, what a lovely touch.
We loved the friendliness of the staff and the cosy atmosphere
There was nothing to dislike
Rooms very clean. Small but cosy and cute Staff excellent
Very classy luxury hotel. All the rooms are unique and extremely well thought out.
The bar was not manned in the evening, and there was no mini bar in the room, so not able to even get a soft drink. No tea or coffee making facilities in the room either.
We were made to feel very welcome. It was warm & cosy. The room was very comfortable & breakfast was lovely. All staff very helpful We enjoyed our visit & will certainly recommend & visit again.
We ordered tea in our room for 7 am, it arrived on time but was cold.
We booked a family room for 2 adults and three small kids for almost 400 pounds per night. The family room was on the top under the roof that is absolutely not acceptable when you carry luggage and a baby on a tiny staircase with no help !!! The room itself was filthy , baby cod looked as if they found it in a recycling center . We did not want even to sit in this room and decided to leave the same evening . The receptionist did not even bother to ask us why we don't stay not only to get us a refund (((( I totally believe that this hotel is not for families , don't waste your time , money and nerves !
Loved everything about the place. Cosy boutique hotel with the feeling of a house party about it, nothing to dislike. Staff couldn't do enough, friendly, helpful as always in this group. Ate at the Bistro at one of the other hotels in group, that was excellent too.
Nothing to dislike!
Friendly staff, happy for us to leave car and grab key card before check in time. Good location not far from seafront, extremely comfortable bed and one of the nicest veggie breakfasts I've had in a hotel. Highly recommended.
very friendly staff very clean
The location of the hotel is fantastic! The bathroom amenities were superb; a powerful rain shower in an extremely spacious bathroom, warmed towels - just what you want to go back too. The breakfast spoke for itself.
I'm being pernickety but the insides of the tea cups weren't white and we could overhear the chef on the phone in the kitchen.
Staff very friendly, breakfast very good.
No management on after 11 although they can be contacted, make sure you read the info., in the room as we were not tokd upon check in that we could contact them out of hours.
Decor Comfort Ambience Shower Bath Toiletries Parking
Evening staff could have been positioned at the bar rather than at reception. It meant we had a drink served but would have had to hung down someone to get a follow up Suggest olives, nuts etc could be provided at the bar
hotel breakfast friendly staff
ridiculous noise from extractor fan in the wind. The only way that I could sleep was to switch the fan ON , all night, with en-suite door closed! Better a continuous hum than an a intermittent rattle all through the night. Brought to the attention of" reception" within 10 minutes of check -in.
Lovely hotel with very helpful and obliging staff. Room relatively small but nicely furnished with plenty of wardrobe space. Bathroom small but has large and efficient shower. Excellent breakfast and the absence of tea making facilities in the room no disadvantage as tea/coffee available all day and evening delivered to your room without charge. A little on the expensive side but excellent service.
We stayed here the day before joining a cruise from Southampton,it is only 30 minutes drive to the terminal. We chose a smaller room & it was excellent. The breakfast was waitress service and the quality superb.Very good location if you want to use the local bus service which we did and visited Gunwharf Quays using the No1 bus for the 10 minute journey. We chose this hotel in preference to a Southampton hotel because of the rather high prices in Southampton.I think the Boat Show week was the cause of the spiraling costs in Southampton.
Nothing, the facilities were as described in the hotel information.
Huge room, nice furnishings, good breakfast, quiet location
Mattress was very soft although some may prefer that.
Style of hotel, excellent wifi
No tea and coffee facilities in room, lovely bath but no shower attachment to rinse hair - had to use a jug
the room was massive and gorgeous, the breakfast was lovely and very tasty. keep up the good job guys
Very tastefully decorated. Staff friendly, but one expects that in a hotel.
Our twin room was really only a single. There was no room for two people to move comfortably and nowhere to put anything - shelves, drawers etc. Put that right and our opinion would change. Parking also is a bit more hit and miss than we were led to believe.
Clean, friendly staff
Very small, lots of stairs, pretty spartan accomodations
