Upon arrival we were given a very warm welcome before we'd even got the bags out. Our bags were carried to our room and were made to feel very welcome. Our room was beautiful and the breakfast choice and quality was of restaurant standard! Absolutely no faults with our stay whatsoever and would highly recommend to others! Will definitely visit again in the future.

    Nothing!

We had an excellent four night stay. A superior room with first class furniture and fittings. Amanda and Chris made us feel very welcome and nothing was too much trouble suggesting places to visit and eat, and booked tables for us. Breakfasts were excellent with a wide choice.

    There was nothing to dislike.

Everything about it was first class. The food, the welcome and friendliness of Amanda and Chris, the wonderful comfy bed and the cleanliness of the whole place. For me the 'real' coffee and home-made biscuits added that lovely personal touch and made this stay special.I would certainly recommend this place to my friends and would love to stay there again.

Loved everything about the place - pure quality throughout. Fabulous hosts - couldn't ask for anything else. If they could have a rating our would give them 5 stars.

    No dislikes whatsoever.

Amanda and Chris were excellent hosts, and the B&B was immaculate. Nothing was too much trouble, even to providing afternoon tea on the front lawn. I would have no hesitation on recommending this to any of my friends.

    Nothing to dislike.

The owners were lovely, very friendly could not do enough for us and the small touches made all the difference. The bedroom was stunning and emaculate. I would recommend this b & b every time. We will be returning with out a doubt.

The rooms were of a standard and style that you'd find in a boutique hotel, but the service was so much more friendly and personal than that - nothing was too much trouble for Chris and Amanda. The bed was very comfortable with lovely fresh white linen. The breakfasts were great, with fresh fruit salad available as well as a really good selection of (very well) cooked dishes.

The property is near to a road, but it wasn't busy at night so this wasn't a major issue - the positives about this place more than made up for that in any case.

The owners, Chris and Amanda were gracious and accommodating. The beds were very comfortable and the pillow were awesome. The rooms were very clean and had their own bathroom. Amanda is an excellent cook and the breakfast menu had a varied selection to fit everyone's taste.

No reflection of the establishment but we didn't rent a car and had to rely on public transportation. Chris was even gracious enough to pick us up and drop us off at the train station. The establishment is right next to a bus stop so it was easy enough to catch a bus; however, we were at the mercy of the bus schedule and we would have been able to see more with our own transport.

Breakfasts (what a choice!), Beds (so comfortable!) The rooms have been furbished with great quality and the needs of guests in mind. Home-baked biscuits in the room (wow!), ample parking, but most of all, the proprietors were genuinely friendly, and most helpful with advice on where to go in the locality.

Absolutely nothing. Every aspect of our stay at Number One B&B was perfect.

Amanda and Chris were warm and welcoming with an extensive knowledge of the area and its attractions. Our room was extremely comfortable and beautifully decorated. Our hosts had thought of every possible thing to make our stay relaxing and were generous with their time and with little extras to make our visit special. The breakfasts were superb and were expertly cooked by Amanda. We would recommend Number One to anybody wishing to stay in this area.

Nothing, even the weather was good!
