A 5-minute walk from the train station and close to Dartmoor, this Victorian town house is situated in the heart of Exeter.

Just 330 ft from Exeter St. Davids Train Station, this Premier Inn has bright, modern rooms with private bathrooms. The center of Exeter is just a 15 minute walk away.

The location is good as we arrived by train and left our baggage at the hotel. ..fortunately our rooms were ready. The staff were wonderful and very accomodating. We enjoyed our breakfast (included) across the road at the main hotel. On checking out we were advised to leave our luggage at the Clock Tower which is also part of the group, and enjoyed the rest of the day.
A little pricey for the room, but convenient for location.
Breakfast excellent! Great choice.
Breakfast was fab!
A bit dated could do with an update
Very easy to walk into the City Centre and very quiet situation. Very clean and comfortable.
You have to walk across the square for breakfast in the morning to sister hotel - we didn't think this was clearly stated at time of booking. Very small breakfast tables - we had to use the seats next to us as overspill! Had to select from a set menu with no opportunity to get own cereal for example. The details clearly state in the room that you are entitled to a free car parking permit for the car park - not the case - we had to pay. Some staff not very welcoming.
The breakfast was good. Location good.
What time breakfast was served. To early.
Very pleasant position on an elegant square. Bed very good.
We booked into No 12 which turned out to be unstaffed at night and administered from the Georgian across the square. This did create a slightly creepy feeling to letting ourselves into an empty building. Don't know what would happen in an emergency.
I arrived early and staff were very obliging and allowed me to access the room .
I was 5 minutes late to breakfast and was refused a cooked breakfast although staff were still serving cooked food The room could do with upgrading to flat screen TV
Number 12 is in an excellent location for a person travelling alone. It was easy to walk to the centre of the city, a mere ten minutes away. My room was very well presented. My dietary requirements were well catered for by helpful staff.
Very fast response when we left Charlie bear behind!
Very good breakfast at sister hotel. Good tea and coffee making facilities. Comfortable bed.
Only a skylight. No window to look out of.
Location and breakfast
Staff a bit distant with no real rapport with guests
Location to the city centre and the friendly staff. Loved the skylight especially as the night sky was clear so could see the stars.
small old fashioned TV with limited channels, in this day and age a freeview TV should be standard. Also the kettle took too long to heat up.
The location is a short walk from the centre and is in a relatively quiet area.
Both lights in the bathrooms were faulty. I cannot understand how this was not already known to be a problem. And the WiFi wasn't working. There was no way to contact any staff at a late hour nor any available the following morning to sort these out. This meant we had to use the bathroom in the dark and had no WiFi so were disappointed overall.
slightly smelly and dingy basement rooms
The room was quiet, bed was comfortable. Location was great!
Shower didn't hold temperature well
Nice quiet room. Big bed. Fine for one or two nights.
a bit tired looking and the shower could do with a thorough scrub!
Clean Comfortable Helpful Staff Parking voucher
Ridiculously small TV Limited Channel option. Now that we have Freeview there should be a lot more available
Helpful and friendly guy on reception and his recommendation of "The Rusty Bike" pub just a short walk away was excellent!
Wi-fi was very intermittent. Noisy location on a warm Friday night
Comfortable, clean and central to the city. Full waitress service for tasty breakfast and repeats of very good coffee.
Booked this hotel for my son who had been involved in a car crash near Honiton and taken to Exeter Hospital. Car was a write off. So can only say what I was told, that he enjoyed his stay and slept well!
Booking change Basement room Cleanliness Bed Ventilation poor Noise from kitchen
I had a good stay there. The room was clean and breakfast was very good. Will highly recommend to any one needing accommodation in Exeter.
A bit of delay in the reception to book on otherwise it is okay.
Found the facilities and accommodation to a high standard.
decent sized rooms and mostly clean. When we finally got breakfast it was of a good standard,
permit parking but no spaces, luckily it overlooks a public car park. Stood outside for 10 minutes on arrival trying to check in with two children needing the toilet was not great. Had to walk across the square to the 'sisiter' site for breakfast where the surly eastern european staff told us there were no tables and to go away and come back.
