Comfortable, clean and central to the city. Full waitress service for tasty breakfast and repeats of very good coffee.

I had a good stay there. The room was clean and breakfast was very good. Will highly recommend to any one needing accommodation in Exeter.
A bit of delay in the reception to book on otherwise it is okay.
Found the facilities and accommodation to a high standard.
The whole experience was very good no other issues
Glass shelf under the mirror in the bathroom was a bit low
Location was wonderful.the staff were friendly enough. As we arrived later than 10 it was easy to arrange collecting key. Great we had a parking permit.
Bit tired looking but clean. A choice of fruit for breakfast would be good & nicer bread for toast.
Close to the city centre and the university campus.
Very clean and excellent location! Great breakfast and brilliant service.
A little pricey for the room
Very good value breakfast
My basement room was damp
Upgraded room was good. Staff were lovely. Good location for getting to central Exeter.
Bit of a palaver going over to sister hotel to check in and have breakfast but nothing too serious.
Breakfast was included and there was a ton of food.
Very good location for a short, flat walk to the shops, bars etc. very clean and well appointed rooms. Friendly staff. Nice breakfast.
Breakfast was taken in the hotel opposite. No problem for us but might be a pain if it was raining/cold etc
Staff and location good.
Room and bathroom were dirty.
it was very conveniently located, quiet and peaceful.
I was very aware of my next door neighbours and the possibility of disturbing them with my tv at night so had to turn it down very low. Otherwise everything was great.
This hotel provided all we needed for a 2 night stay. Comfortable bed, clean shower room, plenty of towels, clear information, adequate hanging space for clothes, lovely breakfast, attentive staff. Don't expect frills but good quality accommodation at a reasonable price.

Outdated tv set
Staff very friendly and efficient - especially the girls serving breakfast. Bed very comfortable. Room clean and well maintained.
Breakfast starts a bit late for a working day.
Breakfast was good
The eastern European woman at reception could have made a good camp Commandant in wwii. The annex is not clean in the hallway, a bit fusty and the lights don't work too well.
Nice and quiet room. Got a goods might sleep. Comfortable bed, good English breakfast. Good friendly staff. Arrived late and was able to collect my key for the key safe outside.
Stayed in room 21. Maintenance could be better. The fan in the ensuit was noisy and not effective causing a slighty damp smell. The sink taps and plug are old and should be replaced. One of the bed side lamps was not working.
This is a very comfortable place to stay and convenient for the City centre. It is in an elegant and quiet square. What I didn't like was arriving to a locked door and having to disturb another visitor to find out I needed to book in at a nearby, connected establishment. There also needs to be greater clarity on parking. It said in the advertisement and in the information in the room that parking is free in the square and car park. I was told on arrival it is not free in the car park. There are very few spaces and I couldn't find any marked with the code printed on my complimentary parking ticket. For that reason alone I give a much lower rating as this was one of the most important elements of my stay.
Very friendly staff, good rooms and nice breakfast.
Good value for money. the position of the room within building. proximity to City centre. Quality of toilet paper. Lovely Breakfast. Nice Coffee.
Slightly misleading, website stated parking in car park but in fact was on street with a permit. Being local, we know where car park is and would have preferred it to on street. Didn't spoil weekend, would recommend hotel.
