Reasonable quality without excessive cost. The staff were helpful.

Both myself and my wife liked the relaxed atmosphere and the friendly staff.

We think the hotel should expand with a spa, gym or pool to offer a good relaxing package. I think the price of the stay was a little high due to the lack of these facilities.

The staff pampered and looked after you , especially in the restuarant , nothing was out of there way to make sure our stay was good and to high quality standards , would go back again . the only comment I would make is I requested that my partner had a special dietary issue that she was a vegetarian and could not eat any dairy products , this was sent by e- mail but when we sat in the restuarant the staff and chef where unaware of this { hadnt been communicated } but 10 out of 10 the chef very quickly accomadated - well done . but certainally would reccomend and go back again

Stunning location and views. Fabulous spacious luxury rooms. We attended a wedding and the whole day was excellent.

Lovely junior suite overlooking beautiful gardens. The service was excellent and the staff very helpful, friendly and attentative. The booking.com rate for the suite was good however I would never pay the hotel rate for the same facility.

The grounds were beautiful and the staff were very polite and friendly. It had an extremely beautiful setting. All of the fixtures and fittings were beautifully presented and would be a real treat to take anyone there. The rooms were very clean and had a beautiful layout. A nice touch was the gentleman working there that helped us carry our bag, even though we only had one to our room. we attended a wedding at the venue which was a perfect setting and really enjoyed out stay. We would book again as a treat weekend.

As the hotel had such a high rating, I had extremely high expectations and I stay in a lot of hotels for business I felt unfortunately the only minor room for improvement would be - Staff were not always where you would expect them to be - perhaps not enough staff on shift there. Had to wait 15 mins to order breakfast as no one was in the breakfast room. Bar staff were not always at the bar and reception staff were always in the back room so had to ring for attention in which I find uncomfortable as I feel I am being rude.

My room was just on the top of the bar!!! Lot of noise at night!!

The hotel itself was very nice and in lovely surroundings with excellent views. The room was nice although the decoration in the bathroom needed some attention as the wall paper had begun to peel. The breakfast was adequate but nothing special.

We arrived at 9:30pm the member of staff who greeted us then showed us to completely the wrong room. We only discovered this in the morning when the staff at breakfast couldn't find us on their guest list under the room name we were in. We were told by the night staff that breakfast was from 7am which was good as we needed an early start. Breakfast wasn't until 8am. The dinning room staff were poor to say the least. The overall experience was spoiled because of these failures

We were one of a very few guests so it was quiet luxurious on arrival we were met by some lovely polite and helpful staff.

As were one of a few on arriving at the bar it was some time before a barman turned up this was the same at breakfast, however once they did turn up they were extremely polite and helpful
